On 6 June 2026, the Embassy of Malaysia in Berlin, in collaboration with the Malaysian Club Berlin (MCB), successfully organised a Get-Together programme for Malaysians residing in Berlin at Rumah Malaysia.
The gathering brought together members of the Malaysian community from various backgrounds, providing an opportunity to reconnect, establish new friendships, and strengthen community bonds. The programme also served as a platform for participants to exchange experiences and foster closer ties within the Malaysian diaspora in Berlin.
Held in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the event was filled with meaningful conversations, laughter, and camaraderie, reflecting the strong spirit of togetherness among Malaysians living abroad. The programme was warmly received by participants and provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen the sense of belonging within the community.
In his remarks, Ambassador Mohamad Razdan Jamil encouraged members of the Malaysian community to continue supporting the MCB and to actively participate in its future activities. He further emphasised the importance of preserving the spirit of unity, harmony, and togetherness among Malaysians abroad, and expressed his hope that the community would continue to grow stronger through greater engagement and mutual support.

INCIDENT INVOLVING LUFTHANSA AIRCRAFT AT FRANKFURT AM MAIN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, GERMANY
The Embassy of Malaysia in the Federal Republic of Germany wishes to inform that no Malaysian citizens were affected following an incident involving a Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 aircraft at Frankfurt am Main International Airport on 4 June 2026.
According to information provided by the relevant German authorities and Lufthansa, the aircraft experienced a nose landing gear failure while parked at the gate in preparation for its scheduled departure to Los Angeles. The incident occurred prior to passenger boarding.
At the time of the incident, only Lufthansa crew members and ground personnel were on board the aircraft. It was reported that several injuries were suffered by the airline staff and are currently receiving medical attention.
The Embassy conveys its sincere hope for the swift and full recovery of those injured in the incident.
