Analogfilmwerke e.V.

02/08/2026

Our first photography exhibition, Film!, presents a selection of analog photographs and experimental works by 11 of our members. The exhibition brings together traditional darkroom prints, street photography, double exposures, slide projections, and installation-based works. It highlights the diverse and contemporary ways our members engage with analog materials—beyond digital perfection and the constant stream of images in today’s media landscape. Film! invites visitors to rediscover the unique depth and tactile quality of analog photography and experience the distinct visual worlds it creates.

Vernissage: Friday, 21.8., 6-11pm

Exhibition open:
Saturday, 22.8., 11am-6pm
Sunday, 23.8., 11am-6pm
Monday, 24.8., 1-4pm

The exhibition takes place at Pop-Up-Raum Grindelallee 129, 20146 Hamburg. Pop-Up-Raum is supported by the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft.

*Bodies in Space*

Filmstart 21 Uhr. Eintritt frei! (Wir lassen den Hut rumgehen.)

We are very excited to collaborate with the f*x Lichtspiele to host an outdoor screening of 16mm short films by Richard Tuohy and Dianna Barrie, a very accomplished duo hailing from Australia!

*Bodies in Space*
A programme of 16mm films by Australian experimental filmmakers Richard Tuohy and Dianna Barrie that take us from windswept coasts to pulsating megacities. The work revels in the energy of place as expressed through rhythmic movements of light and shadow and the wash of time as dissected into frames in the camera and reconstituted into flickering flow by the projector.

The screening takes place in the courtyard of f*x e.G., Bodenstedtstraße 16. Film starts at 9pm. Admission is free (donations are very welcome).
