Ramstein Education Center Ramstein Education Center, Ramstein AB The Ramstein Education Center is here to assist you along your educational journey.

We have counselors to assist local Air Force members, civilian personnel, and families with their educational needs, as well as two on base, regionally accredited schools (University of Maryland Global Campus and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University). Our services include but are not limited to tuition assistance, Community College of the Air Force, PME, GI Bill, SkillBridge, financial aid opportunities, and more!

🔄 CLEP and DSST exam credits transfer to 2,900 and 1,900 colleges and universities in America (respectively). If you want to know what exams transfer into your civilian degree program, you'll need to chat with your college advisor.

🤔 Do you know where your testing location is?? 🤔

There are 3️⃣ testing locations on Ramstein:

📍 Bldg. 2120, Room 426 is home to UMGC's National Test Center (NTC). This is where CLEP/DSST exams, PearsonVUE, and third-party exams are proctored. Directly across the street from Chili's and on the 4th floor. If you've been to the Ramstein Education Center--it's on the same floor!

📍 Bldg. 2115 is where our Base Training Office is located and where CDC exams are administered. This one can be hard to find, but it's tucked right behind the 86 Comptroller Squadron. The Chili's parking lot is a good spot to park.

📍 Bldg. 2106, Room 215 is for all exams administered by our Military Testing Office. This includes WAPS, AFOQT, ASVAB, AFRAT, AFCT, DLAB, DLPT, OPI, EDTO, TBAS, FAA, and TAPAS. Bldg. 2106 is known for being the location of MPF. Our testing folks adhere strictly to the clock so make sure you've given yourself plenty of time to get through traffic, park and arrive at Rm 215. Parking near the building is hit or miss. Your best bet is to park in the Chili's parking lot and take a 3 minute walk to the testing office.

📨 Your test confirmation emails should provide detailed instructions regarding time & date, location, and other requirements such as uniform, ID, or documents to have on hand if required. When in doubt, reach out to the test administrator ahead of time for clarification.

🥳 Our popular SkillBridge Informational Briefing is happening 7 Oct 2026 at 0900!

🧑‍🏫 Join us at the Education Center in building 2120 (across from Chili's) to learn about the SkillBridge program and application process. This briefing is optional, but does not replace the mandatory SkillBridge Training tutorial required in AFVEC.

✅ Check out the recently published DAFI 36-2671 and SPFI 36-2671 for program updates.

🧐 Does your AFVEC account state that you need Initial TA Counseling to gain access to your tuition assistance funds?

👩‍🏫 We hold Initial TA Counseling briefings twice a week: Tuesdays at 0900 and Thursdays at 1400 on the 4th floor of 2120 in Rm 413.

✅ RSVP through your Air Force Virtual Education Center (AFVEC) account under the Ramstein Events. The briefing is required for all AF members who have never used TA before.

💡 If your account says you need REFRESHER training, please head to our front desk and get that completed in-person. It will take 5-10 minutes and is available during customer service hours. No need for the long briefing! Customer Service open 0900-1500 M-F except W when we are open 0900-1330.

💰 Need extra money to achieve your educational goals?

💲 Make sure you submit your FAFSA application. Not only could you be eligible for a Pell Grant, but your application is how colleges and universities determine the financial aid package you could receive from them!

✅ Even if you aren't eligible for a Pell Grant this year, submit the application every year. At least until your bachelor's degree is complete.

⌛️ The 2026-2027 school year application is open through 30 June 2026.

⏳ The 2027-2028 school year application is open TODAY through 30 June 2027.
