SEEKING SAILS
by Hannes & Fritz

Shaped by wind. Reimagined by design.

Seeking Sails brings together 12 Swiss and Danish designers presenting furniture, lighting, objects, and sculptures made from reclaimed sailcloth. Works by Anna Søgaard, Aspekt Office, Maria Bruun, Pablo Dorigo, Alexandra Ge**er, Signe Hytte, Panter & Tourron, Taku Rai, Julie Richoz, Noelani Rutz, Daniel Schofield, and David Walsh explore the creative potential of a material shaped by wind, weather, and time. Initiated and curated by Hannes & Fritz, the exhibition gives new life to a material marked by years of travel and use.

WASTE IS OUR RESOURCE
by FREITAG

From road to reuse.

Zurich-based bag maker Freitag transforms the Swiss Embassy entrance into an immersive journey through the life of upcycled truck tarps. Created with Copenhagen studio Borg Brückner, the installation invites visitors to experience the stories and textures of materials that have traveled thousands of kilometers before finding a second life.

Visitors can also create their own pouch from leftover tarp scraps at a DIY station.

Looking for something fresh and unexpected in Copenhagen? Anatole Muster, a rising artist from Switzerland, is in town and redefining what the accordion can be 🇨🇭🎶

Blending button accordion, laptop, and MIDI synths plus his custom-built “alkometer,” he creates a bold, genre-mixing sound shaped by global collaborations with artists like Kiefer, Louis Cole, Tennyson, and Hadrien Feraud.

After Wonderful Now (2024), his new album hopecore (2025) fuses hyperpop, ‘80s jazz fusion, Midwest emo, plugg, and Brazilian jazz into something bright, energetic, and instantly recognizable.

A 2025 graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Anatole is quickly becoming one of the most distinctive voices of his generation, with nearly 10 million streams and standout shows at Ronnie Scott’s, Montreux Rio, and Jazz Café London.

Line-up:
Anatole Muster accordion
Hugo Piper bass
Ananda Brandao drums

🚀 Artemis II: Swiss innovation beyond the spotlight

Artemis II sent astronauts around the Moon for the first time since the Apollo 17 mission. 🌕

Behind the scenes, Switzerland played a key role. Beyond Gravity and APCO Technologies contributed to the European Service Module, while radiation detectors from CERN helped monitor astronaut safety. 👩‍🚀

A global mission powered by collaboration and innovation.

An evening shaped by dialogue and strong artistic voices at the Embassy of Switzerland in the heart of Copenhagen 🇨🇭 🎨 🇩🇰

We had the pleasure of hosting a vernissage at the Swiss Embassy in collaboration with von Bartha, presenting works by Marianne Eigenheer and SUPERFLEX, with Ambassador Mauro Reina and Stefan von Bartha welcoming guests, framing the cooperation and introducing the artists.

Marianne Eigenheer (1945–2018) explored the relationship between drawing, language, and personal experience through her distinctive, meditative line work. Both painter and writer, her practice reflects an intimate dialogue between gesture and thought. As she once expressed: “The whole world can be seen in a drop of water.”

SUPERFLEX (founded 1993, Copenhagen) is known for its critical and playful engagement with economic and social systems. Their work “Cut Tube” evokes a fragment of infrastructure, at once functional and dysfunctional, inviting reflection on the structures that shape our everyday lives.

We would like to thank all our guests for joining us and participating in this celebration of contemporary art.
