European Energy Security - what does it really mean?🇪🇺☀️

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Brian Vad Mathiesen for a talk on European energy security.

From today's geopolitical challenges to the future of Europe's energy system, Brian shared insights into how the EU can strengthen its energy resilience, reduce dependencies, and navigate the green transition in our increasingly uncertain world.

, European Youth International and M3EP — Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's in European Environmental Economics and Policy came together to host a thought-provoking panel discussion on the EU-India Trade Agreement and its opportunities and challenges.

A huge thank you to our two incredible guest speakers:

Freddy Svane — Former Danish Ambassador to India, for sharing his invaluable diplomatic insights and first-hand experience navigating EU-India relations.

Kaur — Professor at the University of Copenhagen and leading India expert, for bringing sharp academic perspective to the opportunities and tensions embedded in this landmark agreement.

And a special thank you to Nathan Kaschl for expertly moderating a lively and engaging discussion that sparked equally lively contributions from the audience during the Q&A.

Events like this remind us why student-driven initiatives matter — bridging academia, diplomacy, and policy in one room.

✨ What an Event! ✨

On March 20th, we had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Ole Wæver — often called our own Scandinavian Noam Chomsky for a fascinating talk: USA Invasion of Greenland? : An EU Perspective.

We explored big, thought-provoking questions:
Could the United States realistically force Denmark to sell Greenland?
What would be the impact on NATO stability?
How would the EU respond, and what would it mean for Germany’s international relations?

In early February, our team had the incredible opportunity to attend Årsskrift Live by Tuborgfondet at Vega! 🙌✨ It was an inspiring evening filled with powerful discussions, fresh ideas, and amazing people dedicated to making a difference.
