๐จ๐ DERELICT VEHICLE REMOVAL OPERATION CONTINUES ACROSS COMMUNITIES PART 2๐๐จ
On Wednesday 3rd and Friday 5th June 2026, the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force, in collaboration with the National Authorising Office (NAO), Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation, and Rapid Response Recovery, conducted a coordinated operation to remove derelict vehicles from the communities of Bath Estate, Goodwill, River Street, and Loubiere.
This operation forms part of the ongoing initiative aimed at ridding our streets and communities of abandoned and derelict vehicles that pose health, environmental, and public safety concerns. Derelict vehicles can become breeding grounds for mosquitoes and rodents, obstruct traffic, reduce the aesthetic appeal of communities, and may even be used to conceal criminal activities.
The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force wishes to remind owners of derelict vehicles that such vehicles should be removed from public roads and spaces immediately. Continued efforts will be made to identify and remove abandoned vehicles throughout the island as we work together to create cleaner, safer, and more welcoming communities.
The Force extends sincere thanks to all partner agencies and community members for their continued support and cooperation.

๐๐ฉ๐ฒ CDPF OFFICERS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE RSS JOINT OPERATIONS PLANNING COURSE 1/2026 ๐ฉ๐ฒ๐
The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force proudly congratulates Acting Inspector Francis S.J. and Acting Sergeant Hypolite K. on their successful completion of the Regional Security System (RSS) Training Institute Joint Operations Planning Course 1/2026, held in Trinidad and Tobago from 30th March to 29th May 2026.
The nine-week developmental programme was conducted by the Regional Security System in collaboration with the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force and the Canadian Joint Operations Headquarters.
The course was designed for mid and senior-level police and defence force officers from across RSS member states and focused on the principles, planning, and conduct of joint and combined operations within a Caribbean operational environment. It also serves as a tool for identifying and developing personnel for future deployment to regional headquarters and multinational operations.
Throughout the programme, participants engaged in lectures, examinations, individual presentations, and operational planning exercises within various operational cells. Assessments were conducted and graded by Canadian Army officers, ensuring the highest professional standards.
The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force is especially proud of the performance of its officers. Acting Sergeant Hypolite K. distinguished himself by placing tenth overall among a field largely comprised of military personnel, an impressive achievement that reflects his dedication, competence, and commitment to professional excellence.
Officers who complete this course are better equipped to assist in the planning and ex*****on of operations within their respective organizations and contribute meaningfully to regional security initiatives.
Special recognition is also extended to Superintendent Jno.Lewis, who served as an instructor during the programme and received high commendations from both participants and the administration team for his outstanding contribution and professionalism.
The Chief of Police, Command Staff, and members of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force congratulate Acting Inspector Francis S.J. and Acting Sergeant Hypolite K. on this significant accomplishment and commend them for representing the Force and the Commonwealth of Dominica with distinction.
