The Independent Regulatory Commission (IRC) regulates and monitors the supply and transmission of electricity in Dominica.

We ensure that service providers maintain quality standards, and arbitrate disputes between service providers and customers. Another major update in the electricity Rate Review process is coming this week.

The IRC says its second response document will be released on May 29 and will include answers to comments and questions submitted by the public and stakeholders during the consultations.

The IRC has officially released the first response document from the electricity Rate Review consultations.

This document includes issues, concerns, and questions raised during the April public meetings and outreach sessions across Dominica.

The IRC is encouraging everyone to read the responses carefully and continue participating in the process.
