In this context, office is proud to implement, in close partnership with the Algerian Scientific and Technical Police, the project:

“The Modernization and Capacity Building in Forensics of the Algerian Scientific and Technical Police”

🚜🌍 Exciting news from the Lim Young-seok Potato Research Institute! They’ve kicked off a two-week training program to share Korea’s advanced potato breeding and seed production technology with agricultural researchers from Algeria. This initiative, part of a collaboration with KOICA and the Korea Rural Corporation, aims to help Algeria develop its own potato industry by improving breeding, disease resistance, and quality control. The program includes hands-on workshops, field trips, and expert-led lectures to empower Algeria’s researchers with the tools needed for sustainable agricultural growth. 🌱💡

✅Career Stage: obtained a doctoral degree within the past 7 years; or appointed as a full-time faculty member or research staff within the past 3 years
✅Exclusivity: applicants must NOT be receiving concurrent support from other KOICA-funded programs

KOICA est heureuse d’annoncer un partenariat stratégique pour une industrie du ciment bas carbone et de développement durable en Algérie.

Grâce à l’engagement de la KOICA et du Groupe industriel des ciments d'Algérie (GICA), un pont de coopération durable s’est construit entre l’Algérie et la République de Corée.

Un mémorandum d’entente a été signé jeudi dernier entre le Groupe GICA et l’Association Coréenne du Ciment (KCA) dans le but d’élaborer une feuille de route pour une industrie du ciment alignée sur les priorités nationales et les engagements climatiques de l’Algérie.

Cette collaboration a vu le jour grâce à la visite en Algérie des représentants de la KCA et l’Institut Coréen pour la Promotion des Technologies (KIAT). Une immersion qui leur a permis de mieux comprendre les spécificités techniques, économiques et logistiques du secteur cimentier en Algérie.

Cette coopération s’est conclu par :

1- Un programme de perfectionnement des compétences mis en œuvre de 2026 à 2028 au profit des cadres du GICA en vue de promouvoir le bas carbone et de favoriser une industrie durable en Algérie.

2- Une expertise coréenne en management de l’innovation durable mise à profit lors de la création du hub technologique et d’innovation durable du Groupe GICA en 2026.

Cette alliance marque une étape décisive : celle de l’action, du transfert de savoir-faire, et de la co-construction d’un modèle industriel bas carbone adapté aux réalités locales.

Un tournant pour le GICA.
