No one asked for this, but here it is. Under the wings of a bat is a little furry body with arms, legs, and a tail! And did you see the suction cup feetsies?

We are thrilled to introduce Libby Drew as the first Director of our new charity the Knepp Wildland Foundation.
The Foundation has been set up to act as a catalyst for nature’s recovery across Sussex and beyond. We’ll use the lessons learned from Knepp to provide the evidence and inspiration to support rewilding at scale; to establish new wildlife corridors and support a new generation of rewilders.
Libby has a background in journalism, social innovation and public engagement. She founded the award-winning non-profit 'On Our Radar' that surfaces hidden stories from communities around the world to inform social and environmental change.

What can you say about a Violet-tailed Sylph, after seeing one fly by, dart towards a flower — tail streaming behind, then hover and swoop away? Breathtakingly beautiful, mysterious, scarce, awe-inspiring. I had to put my camera down (true) and just watch. Photos just can’t replicate….and when observed closely you’ll see how tiny, precious and fragile they are…my thanks to my Ecuadorian guide Luis, for altering my consciousness. 😊
