As part of Egypt Vision 2030 to advance technical education and vocational training and bridge the gap between theoretical learning and labor market needs, WE Applied Technology Schools were established through a partnership between the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and Telecom Egypt, under the patronage of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
The schools offer a modern educational model aimed at preparing a new generation of highly skilled technical professionals equipped with both knowledge and practical expertise, capable of driving change in the technology sector. Students benefit from hands-on training, direct industry exposure, and nationally and internationally recognized qualifications that enable them to enter the workforce immediately or pursue further studies in technology and engineering fields.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, reviewed a proposal to launch an initiative aimed at expanding the use of new and renewable energy sources in factories. The initiative aligns with the state's direction toward increasing reliance on clean energy and reducing the import bill for petroleum products.

The initiative seeks to enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian industry and strengthen the competitiveness of Egyptian exports by reducing the carbon footprint of industrial activities. It also aims to Strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional hub connecting industry, energy, the green transition, and sustainable supply chains.

Investment in Egypt’s digital training budget has witnessed significant growth in recent years, rising from EGP 32.5 million in fiscal year 2014/2015 to EGP 400 million in fiscal year 2020/2021. It then jumped to EGP 1.1 billion in fiscal year 2021/2022, while spending on digital training and qualification programs continued to expand, reaching EGP 1.7 billion in fiscal year 2023/2024, before recording EGP 2 billion in the fiscal year 2024/2025 budget. This reflects the accelerating investment in digital skills development and the building of technological talent in Egypt.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation announced a major increase in local wheat procurement rates for the current season. The quantities supplied so far have exceeded 3.2 million tons, achieving 64% of the total procurement target. President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi witnessed the inauguration of the New Delta Project along the Sheikh Zayed Axis in Giza (formerly known as the Dabaa Axis).

The New Delta Project, implemented by the Mostaqbal Misr for Sustainable Development, aims to strengthen Egypt’s security through the reclamation and cultivation of approximately 2.2 million feddans.
