Cde Monytoc Kuol Monytoc, Chairman of the SPLM Youth League Egypt and the Middle East Chapter, wishes all South Sudanese youth and citizens a happy 14th anniversary of our independence. He encouraged all comrades to accept one another and to live in peace and harmony as we work towards making the Party a better place for everyone. He also emphasised the crucial role played by youth in achieving our nation during the struggle.

On May 25, 2025, Cde Monytoc Kuol Monytoc, the Chairman of the SPLM Youth League Egypt and Middle East chapter, attended the 42nd anniversary (16th May). He was accompanied by his executive members to the event.
Upon taking the stage, Cde Monytoc began by acknowledging the leadership hierarchy of the SPLM Party, which is headed by H.E. Cde Salva Kiir Mayardit and his deputies. He also recognized the presence of H.E. Ambassador Kuol Nyok Kuol, Cde Emmanuel Wakou, Chairman of the SPLM Egypt and Middle East Chapter, and other political leaders in attendance.
He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all comrades who participated in the event, emphasizing that the 42nd anniversary is a significant day for all South Sudanese, as it celebartes the sacrifices made by our soldiers in the liberation of our nation. He praised the efforts of all soldiers involved.
Cde Monytoc congratulated the school of cadres from both Batch 1 and Batch 2 on their successful training.
In his closing remarks, he thanked Cde Emmanuel Wakou and his team for their excellent work in strengthening the SPLM in Egypt. He assured Cde Emmanuel Wakou Mayen of his full support in helping achieve their goals.

On February 21, 2025, the Chairman of the SPLM Youth League Egypt and Middle East chapter, Cde Monytoc Kuol Monytoc, was formally invited to attend the launch of the SPLM Students’ League office and the membership registration event. During the event, Chairman had the privilege to speak at the event.
In his remarks, the Chairman expressed gratitude to the SPLM Students’ League for inviting him to witness this important event. He congratulated his counterpart, Cde Sebit Ismail Konyi, the Chairman of the SPLM Students’ League Egypt and the Middle East chapter, describing him as a dedicated and committed individual. The Chairman assured the executives that Cde Sebit would always seek to meet their expectations. He stressed that Cde Sebit is a good listener and open to collaborating on any ideas that benefit the Party. He encouraged the entire executive team to fully support Cde Sebit as he leads their ambitions.
Additionally, the Chairman expressed his appreciation for Cde Emmanuel Wakou and his team for their unwavering support to various league offices in Egypt, ensuring that SPLM objectives are discovered. He assured Cde Emmanuel, the Chairman of SPLM Egypt and the Middle East chapter, that he and his peers from different leagues would continue to mobilize people to join the party in preparation for the 2027 elections. He described the event as wonderful.

On January 31, 2025, Cde Monytoc Kuol Monytoc, chairperson of the SPLM Youth League in the Egypt and Middle East chapter, had the honour of speaking at the graduation ceremony for school training cadres.
First and foremost, the chairperson communicated his appreciation to the leaders of the SPLM party, including H.E. Salva Kiirdit, the Chairman, Secretary General, Cde Peter Lam Both, and Cde Bol Makueng Yuol, secretary for external affairs, for their support of the SPLM chapter in Egypt. He also extended his gratitude to the Chairman of the Egypt Chapter, Cde Emmanuel Walou, for his unwavering commitment to the SPLM party in Egypt. Cde Monytoc acknowledged his efforts in standing by the party in all matters.
During his remarks, he congratulated all the graduating cadres and praised the training as one of the best conducted. He stated that the cadres have learned valuable lessons through this training and urged the party's top leaders to continue supporting the party to run its activities smoothly. He also emphasized that this training would help those unfamiliar with the party gain a deeper understanding of its directions and goals.
Similarly, he encouraged all members to remain committed to their responsibilities and to support their leaders in achieving greater success for the party.

On January 5, 2025, the office of the SPLM Youth League in Egypt and the Middle East Chapter held its second meeting, which was highly productive, as affirmed by all attending executives. The executives thoroughly discussed the agenda, leaving no points unanswered.
Chairperson Cde Monytoc Kuol Monytoc expressed his appreciation for each executive who attended the meeting and encouraged everyone to remain committed to their assigned duties. He also recognized the attendance at the graduation ceremony for school training cadres.
In his remarks, he specifically acknowledged Cde Dut James Garang and Cde Lino for successfully conducting the training. Additionally, he announced that an executive workshop will take place on Friday, Feb 14. This announcement was well-received by the executives and is expected to enhance our understanding of our roles and operations within the office.
Lastly, he extended his gratitude to the top leaders of SPLM, starting with H.E. Cde Salva Kiir Mayardit, Chairman of SPLM Party, Cde Peter Lam Both, the Secretary-General, and Cde Bol Makueng Yuol, the Secretary for External Affairs, for their unwavering support of the Egypt chapter. On December 19, 2024, Cde Monytoc Kuol Monyyoc, the chairperson of the SPLM Youth League, attended the inauguration of the SPLM Women's League office and the launch of membership registration.
In his opening remarks, the chairman congratulated Cde Regina Stephens on the trust placed in her by Cde Emmanuel Wakou, who appointed her as the chairperson of the SPLM Women's League for Egypt and the Middle East Chapter. He expressed gratitude for her commitment to her duties and encouraged her to remain loyal as they move forward. Cde Monytoc described Regina as a devoted leader in Egypt, assuring attendees that he had confidence in her ability to manage the SPLM Women's League.
He also extended congratulations to the newly appointed executives, urging them to work diligently with Cde Regina Stephens in advancing the SPLM agenda. Additionally, he reminded the women present that the SPLM was founded during a struggle in which women played an important role.
In conclusion, he expressed his thanks to all the top leaders of the SPLM, especially Cde H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, the SPLM Chairman, and his comrades, for their unwavering support of the diaspora leadership. On November 14, 2024, the SPLM Youth League Office in Egypt and the Middle East Chapter held an executive meeting at the main office in Maadi. The environment was filled with excitement and smiles as the executives discussed the challenges they face and how they plan to overcome them for the benefit of the Party.
The executives shared their thoughts on recruiting new members and assured the chairman, Cde Monytoc Kuol Monytoc, of their commitment to work diligently alongside him in mobilizing new members for the party. They emphasized their dedication to their responsibilities and encouraged any executive facing challenges to seek assistance from their comrades to find solutions.
The chairman expressed his satisfaction in seeing the executives address the challenges they encounter and urged everyone to remain committed to their roles.
Additionally, the chairman shared good news from the SPLM National Secretary of External Relations, Cde Bol Makuneg Yuol; the SPLM Chapter has been gifted a new machine for processing ID cards. This machine is capable of producing 200 ID cards per hour, with each card costing 100 L.E. (Each member will need to pay this amount before receiving their card from the membership team).
The executives were excited to hear this news and expressed their gratitude to SPLM Chairman His Excellency President Kiir Mayardit, SPLM Secretary General Cde Peter Lam Both, and SPLM National Secretary of External Relations Cde Bol Makuneg Yuol for this significant step in providing a machine that facilitates ID card processing Machine. This improvement will reduce the previous difficulties when comrades had to travel to Juba to obtain IDs.
The executives pointed out that delays in receiving IDs had been a tangible burden in attracting new members, as these delays often led to decreased interest in SPLM activities. With the ability to process IDs here, they anticipate that members will be pleased to receive their cards promptly without further delays.
In closing, the chairman expressed his appreciation to SPLM Chairman His Excellency President Kiir Mayardit, Secretary General Cde Peter Lam Both, and Cde Bol Makuneg Yuol for their generous gift, which will significantly relieve operations for the SPLM comrades in Egypt. He also appreciated Cde Emmanuel Wakou Mayen Reath for his efforts in making SPLM prosper and reaffirming his commitment to fulfilling his duties and working tirelessly for the progress of the SPLM.

The SPLM Youth League office and I would like to offer our condolences to the Twic East community members both in Jonglei state, Egypt and wherever you are on the passing of Gen. Amb Bior Ajang Duot on August 13, 2024. Gen. Bior Ajang Duot was a great leader and a key figure in the liberation of South Sudan from Sudan through SPLM. His contributions to the nation will never be forgotten, and his leadership will be greatly missed. We are deeply saddened by his passing and stand in solidarity with his family during this difficult time. Gen. Bior Ajang Duot's legacy will live on, and his service to the party and the nation will always be remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones as they mourn the loss of a remarkable leader.
May his soul continue resting in peace, Amen.

On 2 August 2024, Cde Monytoc Kuol Monytoc, the chairperson of the SPLM Youth League along with other members of the SPLM Youth League and Cde Sebit Ismail Konyi deputy secretary for sports and culture from the chapter met with South Sudanese football coaches in Maadi to express their challenges. The meeting was officially opened by Cde Adoor Loay Atem, the Secretary General of the SPLM Youth League. The coaches expressed their need for assistance from Cde Monytoc and the entire leadership of SPLM, particularly in addressing the issues of insufficient uniforms and insufficient balls.
The coaches emphasized that they are working hard to train young players to showcase their talent but have been unsuccessful due to insufficient funds for uniforms and balls. They believe that if there were more balls and uniforms, it would encourage young players to show their talent and unite them not only in Egypt but also globally.
The members appreciated the coaches' efforts and left it to Cde Monytoc and Cde Sebit to respond to the challenges expressed. Cde Monytoc assured the coaches that the uniforms and balls would be purchased within two weeks and that they would continue to listen to the challenges faced by coaches in Ainshams and elsewhere in Egypt.
Cde Sebit concluded the meeting by stating that they would stand with all coaches in Egypt to ensure sports unite South Sudanese people. Sports has become a significant factor in promoting unity among South Sudanese, as seen in the basketball team led by Luol Deng.
