South Sudan president’s security advisor Tutkew Gatluak Manimeh arrived Cairo.

On September 04, H. E. Ambassador Joseph Moum Majak Ambassador of South Sudan to Egypt and other three African Ambassadors, Sudan, Kenya, Malawi, Madagascar and Camorous attended the ceremony of the shipment of the first batch of Medical aids to the African countries.

Ambassador Soha Gendi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Director of the Department of African Organizations and Communities told Ambassadors at Cairo International Airport that this is a part of arrangements for The first batch of aids deliveries to the African countries.

Ambassador Soha Gendi Said, the first batch of aids has already been directed to 10 African countries. The procedures for shipping the second batch to 20 other countries are being completed during the upcoming period.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has ordered the delivery of $4 million worth of medical aid to 30 African countries to help them combat coronavirus.

In other hands, Ambassador Joseph Moum Majak express that the donation Aid by Egypt has demonstrated the brotherhood between Egypt and the South Sudan, and also reflected the Egyptian vision toward Africa.

His Excellency extend his gratitude and appreciation to the Arab Republic of Egypt, leadership and people, for their Support to the people of South Sudan to help the country in its fight against the virus.

People and Government of South Sudan has praised Egypt for sending medical supplies to help the country combat the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Egypt Inaugurated the new Egyptian Medical Center in order to serve the friendly People of South Sudan.

In the presence of the Head of the General Intelligence Service, Minister. ABBAS KAMEL, and Egypt's Minister of Health, Dr. HALA ZAYED accompanied by some South Sudanese Officials, the new Egyptian Medical Center was opened in the Capital of JUBA, amid a great welcome from the Citizens of Sisterly South Sudan and it's Officials.

The Egyptian Minister of Health, Dr. Hala Zayed discussed with her South Sudanese Counterpart, Hon. Elizabeth Achuei - during the visit of the Egyptian delegation to Juba- ways of developing and strengthening the medical cooperation between Egypt and South Sudan.

The Egyptian Minister of Health pledged - during the Talks that were held in Juba- to provide more medical support to South Sudan, especially in the field of combating Virus C & Virus B and the CORONA VIRUS Panademic.

The two Ministers of Health inspected some Medical Centers in the Capital of Juba, including the Egyptian Kidney Center and Juba Teaching Hospital.

The Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi had directed the Minister of Health, Dr. HALA ZAYED to provide all necessary medical support to South Sudan.

His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic South Sudan to Cairo Visits Clinilab in Cairo

Cairo, July 7, 2020.

His Excellency, Mr. Joseph Moum Majak, the Ambassador of the Republic of South Sudan to the Arab Republic of Egypt visited the Head Office of Clinilab Company in Cairo, and met with the Chairman of Clinilab, Dr. Nibal Fahmy, and he was briefed on the industrial competencies of the Clinilab in the field of laboratory instruments, medical researches, and clinical diagnostics.

Dr. Nibal Fahmy expressed the willingness to promote business relations with partners in South Sudan and enhancing existing cooperation in the field of laboratory services, equipment and training.

The main purpose of the visit by the ambassador was to explore the possibility of establishing co-operation between Clinilab and Counter-part in South Sudan.

Overall, the meeting was fruitfull and during the meeting both sides agrees the possibility of speeding up the process of shipment of medical testing kits, which was already contracted between Ministry of Health and Clinilab.

In this regard, H.E. Ambassador Joseph Moum, stated that the future co-operation in terms of exporting medical - laboratory equipment’s to Juba, whether to the government or private sector are important, which was the main objective of the meeting.

السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي يستقبل نائب رئيس جنوب السودان.

استقبل السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم السيد جيمس وانى إيجا، نائب رئيس جنوب السودان، وذلك بحضور السيد عباس كامل رئيس المخابرات العامة.

وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية بأن السيد الرئيس طلب نقل تحياته إلى أخيه الرئيس سلفا كير، مشيداً سيادته بعمق العلاقات المصرية الجنوب سودانية، ومؤكداً الحرص على تطويرها، وكذا مواصلة مصر بذل مساعيها على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي لتعزيز الجهود الرامية لتحقيق الاستقرار والسلام في جنوب السودان.

كما رحب السيد الرئيس بالخطوة الهامة التي حققتها مؤخراً الأطراف في جنوب السودان بإعلان الرئيس "سلفا كير" وزعيم المعارضة "رياك مشار" عن اعتزامهما البدء في تشكيل حكومة الوحدة الوطنية تنفيذاً لمقررات اتفاق السلام، مشيراً سيادته إلى أهمية البناء على الزخم القائم على الساحة السياسية في جنوب السودان وتوافر الإرادة اللازمة من قبل كافة الأطراف بهدف الاستمرار في تنفيذ استحقاقات اتفاق السلام.

من جانبه؛ نقل السيد "إيجا" تحيات الرئيس سلفا كير إلى السيد الرئيس، معرباً عن تقدير بلاده الكبير لمصر وشعبها وقيادتها، ومثمناً التطور المتواصل في مسار العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين.

كما استعرض نائب رئيس جمهورية جنوب السودان آخر تطورات الأوضاع السياسة في بلاده، مشيداً في هذا الصدد بدور مصر والجهود التي تبذلها دعماً لاستقرار الأوضاع في المنطقة وفى جنوب السودان، والتى تأتى في إطار دور مصر الرائد على المستوي الإقليمي وكذلك ما يجمع البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين من روابط تاريخية.

وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن اللقاء شهد التباحث حول سبل تفعيل وتطوير أطر التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين في مختلف المجالات في المرحلة المقبلة، فضلاً عن تبادل وجهات النظر بشأن تطورات عدد من الملفات الإقليمية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
