The Japan Foundation, Cairo

On April 25, the Japan Foundation, Cairo supported the 24th Speech Contest in the Japanese Language, organized by the Moroccan Association for Japanese Language and Culture. Our Japanese language education advisor, Mr. Yosuke Yamaoka participated as one of the juries.

The contest had three categories: Quiz, Presentation, and Speech, and many participants demonstrated a high level of Japanese language proficiency.

In addition, there are some performances such as Rakugo, musicals, and theatre and around 300 on-site and 1,200 online audience members all enjoyed them.

We aim to continue supporting Japanese language learners in Morocco in the future.

دعمت مؤسسة اليابان بالقاهرة مسابقة الخطابة باللغة اليابانية الرابعة والعشرين، والتي نظمتها الجمعية المغربية للغة والثقافة اليابانية يوم 25 إبريل، حيث شارك أ/ يوسوكيه ياماأوكا، مستشار تعليم اللغة اليابانية بالمؤسسة، كأحد الحكام بالمسابقة.

اشتملت المسابقة على ثلاث فئات: اختبار، وعرض تقديمي، وخطابة، وأظهر العديد من المشاركين مستوى إجادة مرتفع للغة اليابانية.

كما تم تقديم عروض مثل الراكوجو، وعروض موسيقية ومسرحية، واستمتع بها الحضور الذي بلغ حوالي 300 مشارك في القاعة، و1200 مشارك أونلاين.

سنسعى إلى الاستمرار في دعم متعلمي اللغة اليابانية بالمغرب في المستقبل.

Children’s Day in Japan – Celebrating Strength and Growth 🎏

Today, May 5, is Children’s Day in Japan (Tango no Sekku), a traditional celebration that wishes for healthy growth and future of children. Families mark this occasion by displaying Gogatsu Ningyo (May dolls), such as samurai figures, which symbolize strength, courage, and protection👶✨
