เอกอัครราชทูตพบหารือประธาน Egypt Healthcare Authority

เมื่อวันที่ 21 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายธนวัต ศิริกุล เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไคโร ได้พบหารือกับ Dr. Ahmed Hussein El-Sobky ประธานองค์การบริหารด้านสาธารณสุขของอียิปต์ (Egypt Healthcare Authority - EHA) และคณะผู้บริหาร EHA เพื่อหารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทวิภาคีด้านสาธารณสุขระหว่างไทยและอียิปต์

ในการหารือ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับระบบสาธารณสุขของไทยและอียิปต์ โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ กล่าวชื่นชมความมุ่งมั่นของอียิปต์ในการปฏิรูประบบสาธารณสุขและการดำเนินนโยบายหลักประกันสุขภาพถ้วนหน้า ตลอดจนศักยภาพของอียิปต์ด้านการท่องเที่ยวเชิงการแพทย์และ Wellness ในขณะที่ฝ่ายอียิปต์ชื่นชมความก้าวหน้าด้านสาธารณสุขของไทย และประสงค์จะแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้กับฝ่ายไทยในสาขาต่าง ๆ อาทิ การท่องเที่ยวเชิงการแพทย์ การพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรด้านสาธารณสุข การเสริมสร้างประสบการณ์ให้แก่ผู้เข้ารับบริการชาวต่างชาติ การถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี รวมถึงการประยุกต์ใช้ระบบดิจิทัลและปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) ในระบบสาธารณสุข ตลอดจนการลงทุนด้านการแพทย์และการส่งเสริมการตลาด ในโอกาสนี้ ฝ่ายอียิปต์เชิญชวนให้ภาคเอกชนไทยพิจารณาเข้ามาลงทุนด้านบริการทางการแพทย์และ wellness ในอียิปต์ อาทิ โครงการโรงพยาบาล Saint Catherine

การหารือครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงพลวัตของความสัมพันธ์ไทย–อียิปต์ และความมุ่งมั่นร่วมกันของทั้งสองฝ่ายในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านสาธารณสุขเพื่อประโยชน์ร่วมกันของประชาชนทั้งสองประเทศ

H.E. Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt met Dr. Ahmed Hussein El-Sobky, Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority

On 21 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt met with Dr. Ahmed Hussein El-Sobky, Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) and EHA executives to discuss ways to promote bilateral cooperation in the field of public health between Thailand and Egypt.

During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on the public health systems of both countries. The Ambassador commended Egypt's commitment to reforming its public health system and implementing a universal health coverage policy, as well as Egypt's strong potential in medical tourism and wellness. The Egyptian side, in turn, appreciated Thailand's progress in public health and expressed a desire to exchange knowledge with Thailand in various areas, including medical tourism, capacity building for public health personnel, enhancing the experience of foreign patients, technology transfer, the application of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) in public health, as well as investment in medical services and marketing. On this occasion, EHA chairman invited Thai private sector to consider investing in medical and wellness services in Egypt, such as the Saint Catherine Hospital project.

This discussion reflects the dynamics of Thai-Egyptian relations and the shared commitment of both sides to promote cooperation in public health for the mutual benefit of the people of both countries.

พิธีเฉลิมพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณี พระบรมราชินี เนื่องในโอกาสการประกาศยกย่องพระเกียรติคุณพระราชกรณียกิจในวาระครบ 100 ปี

นายธนวัต ศิริกุล เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไคโร เป็นประธานในพิธีเฉลิมพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณี พระบรมราชินี ในพระบาทสมเด็จพระปกเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว และกล่าวน้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณเนื่องในโอกาสการประกาศยกย่องพระเกียรติคุณพระราชกรณียกิจในวาระครบ 100 ปี และการประกาศยกย่องพระเกียรติคุณพระราชกรณียกิจด้านการศึกษา การพัฒนาสังคมอย่างยั่งยืน และความเสมอภาคทางเพศ ของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณีฯ ขององค์การการศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ และวัฒนธรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNESCO) โดยในพิธีดังกล่าว มีข้าราชการ คู่สมรส และผู้แทนชุมชนคนไทยเข้าร่วมโดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน

A Ceremony Honoring Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni on the Occasion of the 100th Anniversary Commemoration of Her Royal Contributions

Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Ambassador of Thailand to Cairo, presided over a ceremony honoring Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, Queen Consort of King Prajadhipok (Rama VII). During the ceremony, he delivered remarks paying tribute to Her Majesty’s gracious benevolence on the occasion of the 100th anniversary commemoration recognizing her royal contributions, as well as UNESCO’s recognition of her achievements in education, sustainable social development, and gender equality. The ceremony was attended attended by officials of Team Thailand Offices and spouses in Cairo and representatives of the Thai community.
