Embassy of Canada to Egypt

🇨🇦⚽ Ambassador Ulric Shannon visited the EFA to attend a training session of Egypt’s national football team ahead of their travels to North America for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

He had the opportunity to wish the team the very best of luck as they prepare to represent Egypt on the world stage, including a match vs. New Zealand in Vancouver on June 21 .

🇨🇦⚽ زار السفير أولريك شانون الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم لحضور تدريبات المنتخب الوطني المصري لكرة القدم، وذلك قبيل FIFA 2026™️سفره إلى أمريكا الشمالية للمشاركة في كأس العالم .

وقد أتيحت له الفرصة لتمنّي كل التوفيق للفريق وهو يستعد لتمثيل مصر على الساحة العالمية، بما في ذلك مباراته أمام نيوزيلندا في فانكوفر يوم 21 يونيو.
