Today Ethiopia is mourning the death of Former President of F.D.R.E. Dr. Negasso Gidada.
Hence, Ethiopian Embassy has opened a Condolence Book in honor of the former F.D.R.E. President Dr, Negasso Gidada, who died on last April 27, 2019. In this regard, various diplomatic corps in Asmara are signing on the Condolence book opened at Ethiopian Embassy in Asmara. Ambassador of , Charge D'Affairs of and are among those signed on the condolence book.

ከጄዳ ወደ አዲስ አበባ በሳዑዲ አረቢያ አየር መንገድ ስትጉዋዝ የነበረችውና በድንገት አውሮፕላን ውስጥ በአስመራ አየር ማረፊያ መንታ ልጆችን ወልዳ የነበረችው ኢትዮጵያዊቷ ጀነቲ ሁሴን በአስመራ ከተማ በሚገኘው ኦሮታ ሪፈራል ሆስፒታል የጤና እንክብካቤ እየተደረግላቸው እንደነበር ማስታወቃችን ይታወሳል።
በዚሁ መሰረት ባለፉት ስድስት ቀናት ኤርትራውያን የህክምና ባለሙያዎች ለጀነቲ ሁሴንና ለመንትያ ልጆቿ የጤና እንክብካቤ ሲያደርጉላቸው ቆይተው በዛሬው ዕለት ሽኝት ያደረጉላቸው ሲሆን ኤምባሲያችንም ለህፃናቱ የጉዞ ሰነድ በመስጠት አስፈላጊው ድጋፍ ተደርጎላቸው በኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ ወደ አዲስ አበባ ተሸኝተዋል።
በዚህ ታሪካዊ ወቅትና ሁኔታ የተወለዱት ሠንትዮቹ ሴት ህፃናትም አንጋፋዋ ልጅ አውሮፕላኑ አስመራ እንዳረፈ እንደመወለዷ መጠን አስመራ ዑስማን ተብላ ስትሰየም ታናደግሞ ሀያት ዑስማን የሚል ስም ወጥቶላታል።
በአስመራ የሚገኘው የኢ.ፌ.ዴ.ሪ. ኤምቢሲ ለጀነቲ ሁሴንና ለመንትያ ልጆቿ ለተደረገላቸው ወገናዊ እንክብካቤ ለኦሮታ ሪፈራል ሆስፒታል፣ ለሕክምና ባለሙያዎቹና ለኤርትራ ህዝብና መንግስት በኢትዮጵያ ህዝብና መንግስት ስም እንዲሁም በጀነቲ ሁሴንና መንትያ ልጆቿ ስም የላቀ ምስጋና ያቀርባል።

ኢትዮጵያዊቷ ድንገተኛ አራስ በኤርትራ ሆስፒታል

ጀነቲ ሁሴን መሐመድ ትባላለች። ለስራ ምክንያት በሳዑዲ አረቢያ መዲና ከተማ የምትኖረው ኢትዮጵያዊቷ ጀነቲ ሁሴን የስምንት ወር እርጉዝ ሆና ሀገር ቤት ለመዉለድ በሳዑዲ አየር መንገድ ከጄዳ ወደ አዲስ አበባ እየተጏዘች ነበር። ሆኖም መጋቢት 14 ቀን 2011ዓ.ም. ቅዳሜ ዕለት ማለዳ ከጠዋቱ 1 ሰዓት ከ15 ላይ አውሮፕላኑ በኤርትራ አየር ክልል ውስጥ እንደገባ በድንገት ምጥ ይይዛታል። እናም ፖይለቱ ከኤርትራ አየር ተቆጣጣሪዎች ጋር በመነጋገር አስመራ አየር ማረፊያ እንዲያርፍ ተደረገ። ልጆቹ መንትዮች ናቸው። አንዷ አውሮፕላኑ አየር ላይ እያለ የተወለደች ሲሆን ሁለተኛዋ ልጅ ደግሞ አውሮፕላኑ እንዳረፈ ነው የተወለደችው። ከዚያም የኤርትራ ጤና ጥበቃ አምቡላንስ ደርሶ ጀነቲ ሁሴንንና ልጆቿን በፍጥነት በአስመራ ከተማ ትልቁ ወደሆነው ኦሮታ ሪፈራል ሆስፒታል ወስደዋት በኤርትራውያን አዋላጅ ሀኪሞች እንክብካቤ እየተደረገላቸው ይገኛል። ህፃናቱ የመወለጃ ጊዜያቸው ሣይደርስ በስምንት ወር የተወለዱ እንደመሆናቸው መጠን አሁን በማሞቂያ ክፍል ውስጥ ሆነው አስፈላጊው የህክምና ክትትል እየተደረገላቸው ይገኛል። ዶክተሮቹ ባገኘነው መረጃ መሰረት ቢያንስ እስከ ሐሙስ የህክምና ክትትል እየተደረገላቸው የሚቆዩ ይሆናል።
የሆስፒታሉ ማዋለጃ ክፍልም ሆኘ የህፃናት ክፍል ኤርትራውያን የጤና ባለሙያዎች ለጀነቲ ሁሴን ልዩ እንክብካቤ እያደረጉላት ይገኛሉ።
በአስመራ የሚገኘው የኢትዮጵያ ኤምባሲም ጉዳዩን በቅርበት እየተከታተለ ይገኛል። ጀነቲንም ሳዑዲ ሚገኘው ባለቤቷ ጋር በስልክ ያገናኘናት ሲሆን የህፃናቱ የጤና ሁኔታ አስተማማኝ ደረጃ ላይ ደርሶ ከሆስፒታሉ መውጣት እንደሚችሉ ከዶክተሮቹ ሲገለፅልን ጀነቲ ሁሴንን ከነልጆቿ በኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ ቤተሰቦቿ ወዳሉበት አዲስ አበባ የምንሸኛት መሆኑን እንገልፃለን።
የኢትዮ ኤርትራ የሰላም ትሩፋት ለጀነቲ ሁሴንም ደርሶ በድንገት መንትያ ሴት ልጆቿን በሀገረ ኤርትራ አስመራ ከተማ ወልዳለች። ህፃናቱም በኤርትራ ተወልደው ይህ የሰላም ታሪክ ተፃፈ።
ለጀነቲ ሁሴንና ለመንትያ ሴት ልጆቿ እየተደረገላቸው ለሚገኘው ወገናዊ እንክብካቤ ለኦሮታ ዶክተሮችና የጤና ባለሙያዎች እንዲሁም ለሀገረ ኤርትራ ህዝብና መንግስት የኢትዮጵያ ኤምባሲ በኢትዮጵያ ህዝብና መንግስት ስም ከፍ ያለ ምስጋና ያቀርባል።

is endowed with enormous natural and historical resources. It's also a cradle of human being. A country having more than 3000 years of uninterrupted history. The only African country which kept its independence from European colonizers. Indeed, a land of opportunities as well.
A country tourists should make on top of their list to visit.

The diplomatic corps in Asmara are signing on the Book of Condolence opened at Ethiopian Embassy in Asmara. The Great Britain, Russian Federation, United States of America, Qatar Ambassadors and UNICEF Special Representative in Eritrea are among them.

The Ethiopian airplane crash is extremely saddening. The plane was flying from Addis Ababa to Nairobi, carrying 149 passengers of different countries nationalities and 8 Ethiopian Airlines crew members. It was indeed a black day in Ethiopia. Therefore, the House of People's Representatives of Ethiopia passed a decision that, today is a mourning day across Ethiopia.

In this regard, the Diplomats and staff of Ethiopian Embassy in Asmara expresses their deepest condolences to all Ethiopians, families lost their beloved ones and all countries whose citizens are died in the crash. Rest them all in Peace and Strength for their beloved families!

Ethiopia Participating on Khartoum Process Meeting

Ethiopia is Participating on Khartoum Process Meeting,which is being held here in Asmara from April 6-7, 2019.
The meeting is aimed at enhancing efforts made by the joint cooperation between Khartoum Process African Member countries and European Union member countries, in tackling Illegal Human Traficking and Migration challenges.
During the opening session of the meeting, H.E. Mr. Yemane Gebreab, Chief Advisor of the President of the State of Eritrea made his welcoming remark, in which he emphasized on focusing on concrete actions in tackling the challenges posed by Illegal Human Trafickers, Smugglers as well as actions needed to solve the root causes of Africa- Europe migration.
Khartoum Process Meeting was first held in 2014 in Khartoum aiming at solving the root causes of migration and taking actions to address the its challenges.
Member countries of Khartoum Process Forum are totally 15 African and European countries as well as relevant regional and International organizations,including , , , , Sudan and are from African countries, while , Kingdom, , and are from Europe, IGAD, African Union Commission and United Nations Agencies.
Ethiopia has been Chairing the summit in 2017, then handed over to Italy in 2018 and now Eritrea is taking the Chairmanship.
Ambassador Redwan Hussein, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ethiopia in the State of Eritrea was present on the opening session of the meeting, while Mr. Yohannes Abraha, Minister Counsellor at Ethiopian Mission to Brussels and Mr. Terefe Dida Director at European Affairs Directorate General in the MOFA of Ethiopia are representing Ethiopia in the meeting.
