Featured Member: César Ramírez Martinell – Developing Smart Cities This month’s featured member is César Ramírez Martinell, the Chairman and Founder of Barcelona Housing Systems.

BHS technology will be applied to build a new large scale residential and mix use area in South Chicago as a result of a purchase agreement between US Steel and Emerald Group (WElink and BHS).
This project envisages to build up to 20.000 housing units, a high amount of them will be affordable, with high energy efficiency. “This will create new jobs, better housing and economic development in this area and consequently for all the City of Chicago”, said the BHS´ Chairman, César R. Martinell.
