Hrvoje Njirić — architect and educator — has continuously expanded the dialogue between architecture, culture, and education across continents. This month, he joins to present his lecture:
“Housing and Other Ways of Being Together”
The lecture addresses changing housing policies in Croatia and the theme of crisis in three ways. It examines housing across different environmental and typological conditions and in relation to other programs; it also links housing theory with practice, highlighting how teaching and studio work productively influence each other; and finally, it shows how the architect/client dual role opens up new possibilities for experimentation.
