Ascophyllum nodosum: the seaweed that comes from the sea to strengthen your crop.

It grows on the rocky shores of the North Atlantic, in the tidal zone, where it is constantly exposed to changes in salinity, temperature and light. That ability to adapt is reflected in its composition, which is why it is one of the most widely used seaweeds in agriculture.

What does it contain?
🔹 Alginates, which help improve water retention
🔹 Mannitol, which supports nutrient mobility
🔹 Polysaccharides such as laminarin and fucoidans
🔹 Phenolic compounds with antioxidant activity
🔹 Betaines, amino acids and micronutrients
🔹 Natural phytohormones such as auxins and cytokinins

What does it bring when it is part of an agricultural product?
✅ Promotes root development and plant vigour
✅ Improves nutrient uptake and use efficiency
✅ Helps the crop cope with stress situations: drought, salinity, heat or cold
✅ Stimulates photosynthetic activity and plant metabolism
✅ Contributes to fruit set, fruit development and final quality
✅ Stimulates biological activity in the soil around the root zone
A natural, renewable resource with a long track record in agriculture.

At FORCROP, we are committed to solutions that combine the power of nature with technical know-how, helping growers and technicians achieve more balanced and productive crops.

Strong roots, firm fruit: the FORCROP blueberry strategy.
Blueberry is a demanding crop: shallow, delicate roots, acidic soils, and fruit whose commercial value depends on firmness and shelf life. That's why at FORCROP we approach it with two allies working as a team:

RADIX TIM: start with the roots
Plant-based amino acids combined with phosphorus and NPK that stimulate root formation. A better-developed root system absorbs and translocates nutrients more efficiently and helps the plant cope with adverse conditions.

RADIX CAL 5: quality you can see in the fruit
Calcium and magnesium complexed with micronutrients, highly available and especially useful in acidic soils like those of blueberry:
✅Supplies calcium and magnesium, nutrients that are often scarce in acidic soils
✅Boosts microbial activity in the wet bulb
✅Improves the uptake of other nutrients
✅Helps reduce salt stress
✅Firmer fruit with higher commercial quality and longer post-harvest life

The result: a well-rooted, well-nourished plant, and fruit that reaches the market in better shape.
Both products are applied through fertigation, fitting easily into your irrigation program.

BeSAS: Our way of doing things

At SAS, we believe that taking care of our environment starts with taking care of people.
BeSAS is our way of understanding the present and building the future. A philosophy that brings social and environmental responsibility into every process, every decision and every challenge we take on.

BeSAS means working with passion, courage and determination. It means being part of a team that innovates, sets ambitious goals and works every day to make a more sustainable agriculture possible.

But above all, BeSAS is about people. That is why we are committed to creating an inclusive, respectful and safe workplace built on trust. A place where talent can grow, where learning and development have a central role, and where teamwork, autonomy and emotional well-being are part of the way we work.

Because we believe that a sustainable future is not built only through solutions for the environment. It is also built by creating places where people can grow, contribute and feel part of something meaningful.

BeSAS. Together, we make a future for agriculture possible.

The FORCROP program for tomato cultivation, combined with the advice of our technical team, is a tool designed to help increase tomato yield. It consists of nutritional and biostimulant treatments aimed at optimizing crop development at each phenological stage, while improving yield and quality.

FERTIGATION APPLICATION
For fertigation, the ideal products are RADIX CAL 5, a calcium source enriched with micronutrients and organic acids, and RADIX TIM, which contains free amino acids and helps promote the development of absorbing root hairs.

FOLIAR APPLICATION
For foliar application, the best FORCROP solutions are FOLCROP B-Mo, which helps improve the plant's physiological and biochemical processes, and FORCROP K35, a pH-neutral fertilizer designed to support fruit ripening.
This is one of the most effective FORCROP nutritional programs for tomato cultivation, proven in numerous fields worldwide.

The Problem: Lack of Oxygen and Soil Structure.
Oxygen is just as essential for roots as it is for any other part of the plant. When the soil becomes compacted or waterlogged, due to heavy rains, poorly managed irrigation, or heavy soil textures, the air that filled the pores disappears, and the roots are subjected to anaerobic conditions.

What does a lack of oxygen in the roots cause?
Inhibition of cellular respiration and the absorption of water and nutrients
• Proliferation of anaerobic fungi and bacteria (Phytophthora, Pythium, Rhizoctonia) responsible for root rot
• Damaged roots, weakened plants, and yield loss
And when the problem isn’t just a one-time occurrence—but rather the soil has an inherently poor structure—the cycle repeats itself crop after crop.

The solution: FORCROP’s dual-action approach.
We tackle the problem on two complementary fronts: the immediate symptom and the underlying cause.

FORCROP SOLCROSS
Targets the immediate symptom
A soil percolator formulated with soil conditioners and wetting agents, designed to optimize water percolation and distribution. It helps prevent waterlogging that suffocates roots, promoting water circulation and allowing air to re-enter the soil pores.

FORCROP SOLUM H20
Tackles the root cause
A liquid humic acid solution (166.5 g/L) that improves the soil’s physicochemical and biological properties, promotes proper soil structure, increases cation exchange capacity (CEC), and enhances nutrient retention.

The combination, in a nutshell: SOLCROSS provides short-term relief for the soil, while SOLUM H20 regenerates it to prevent the problem from recurring.

The First Weeks Decide the Whole Season

Before a vegetable crop ever reaches full growth, its fate is often decided at the seedling stage. A handful of stresses can quietly limit yield potential before the plant even leaves the tray:

• Damping-off diseases — Pythium, Rhizoctonia and Fusarium attack tender roots and stems in humid, poorly ventilated conditions.
• Water stress — both drought and waterlogging suffocate a root system that hasn't developed enough to cope with either extreme.
• Temperature swings — young plants can't buffer sudden heat or cold the way mature crops can.
• Nutrient deficiencies — a small root system means less capacity to take up calcium and key micronutrients, right when cell walls are forming.
• Salinity — high EC in the soil or irrigation water quickly overwhelms sensitive young roots.
• Transplant shock — moving from tray to field damages fine roots and stalls growth for days or weeks.
• Early pest pressure — thrips, aphids, whitefly and cutworms hit soft, undefended tissue hardest.

Get the first weeks right, and the rest of the season has a much stronger foundation to build on.
