🔹 Peacekeeping is a proven cost-effective way to restore stability and hope.

🔹 🇧🇪 is committed to protecting women, girls, and children in conflict zones - giving them a voice and support. 💜

Today marks 63 years since African leaders came together to establish the OAU in 1963. Let’s continue working together to implement Agenda 2063 and build the Africa we want! 🤝

H.E. Dr. Annelies Verstichel represented the partners of the AU as one of the co-chairs of the AUPG on the panel “63 Years of African Unity, Integration and Development, Let’s Celebrate Together”. 🎙️✨

🌍✨ Europe Day, celebrated annually on May 9, is dedicated to the legacy of peace, cooperation, and unity across Europe.

This year, we celebrated EU Day on May 7th with fellow EU Member States at the Sheraton Hotel with delicious Belgian chocolate mousse 🍫, cupcakes from Puratos (a Belgian organization) 🧁, and iconic books such as Tintin and the Smurfs, which represent rich Belgian culture. 🎉

The partnership between the EU and Ethiopia, which has developed over the past 51 years, continues to grow through initiatives in the fields of development, trade, and stability.

Belgium has maintained a bilateral relationship with Ethiopia for 120 years and promotes cooperation in many sectors. We reaffirm our commitment to sustainable development, regional stability, and economic growth.🇧🇪🤝🇪🇹

The kids played, families mingled, and we enjoyed a wonderful mix of European and Ethiopian music, celebrating 120 years of Ethiopia and Belgium! 🎶🇪🇹🇧🇪
