የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ አስደናቂም ተአምረኛም ሕዝብ ነው። ከፈጣሪ በቀር ሕዝባችንን አሟልቶ ሊያውቅና ሊገመግም የሚችል ማን ነው? የዳበረ ባህል፣ ሀገር ወዳድና የወል መሻቱን መጠበቅ የሚችል ሕዝብ መሆኑን በዘንድሮው ምርጫ ዳግም ለዓለም አሳይቷል። በዛሬው ታሪካዊ ዕለት፡-

• የሌሊቱ ብርድና ጨለማ ያላስፈራቸው፣
• የቀትሩ ፀሐይና ድንገተኛ ዝናብ ያልበገራቸው
• ሠርግ፣ ኀዘን፣ ወሊድና ሌሎች ማኅበራዊ ሁነቶች ያላገዳቸው፣
• ረጃጅም ሰልፎች ያላታከታቸው፣
• የአካል ጉዳት ድምጽ ለመስጠት ያልገደባቸው፣
• ሕመም እና እርጅና የሀገር ተስፋን ከማየት ያላገዳቸው፣
• የነገ ሀገር ተረካቢ ጨቅላ ልጃቸውን ማዘል ያላደከማቸው፣
• ከምንም በላይ የጠላት ጩኸትና ማስፈራሪያ ያላስቆማቸው ዜጎች፤

በብዙ ውጣ ውረዶች መካከል (against all odds) ያሳያችሁት ጽናት ለዴሞክራሲና ለሀገር ሕልውና የተከፈለ ነውና ከልብ የመነጨ ምስጋና ይገባቸዋል፡፡

ይሄንን ሕዝብ ማገልገል መታደል ነውና ተመራጮች ያከበራችሁን አክብራችሁ ለዴሞክራሲ ሥርዓት ዋጋ የከፈለውን ይሄንን ሕዝብ በንጽሕና ለማገልገል ያብቃችሁ።

Uummanni Itoophiyaa dinqisiisaafi ajaa'ibsiisaadha! Uumaa malee uummata keenya guutummaan beekuufi gamaaggamuu kan danda'u eenyu? Aadaa gabbataa, uummata biyya jaallatuufi fedhiisaa waloo eeguu danda'u ta'uusaa filannoo baranaatiin irradeebiidhaan addunyaatti agarsiiseera. Guyyaa seena-qabeessa har'aatiin:
- Qorriifi dukkanni halkani kan isaani hin sodaachifne,
- Aduun saafaafi bokkaan tasaa kan isaan jilbeenfachiifne,
- Cidhi, gaddi, da'umsiifi taateewwan hawaasummaa kanbiroon kan isaan dhorkine,

Uummata kana tajaajiluun carroomuu waan ta'eef filatamtoonni warra isin kabajan kabajjanii uummata sirna diimookraasiif gatii baase kana qulqullummadhaan tajaajiluuf isin haa gahu.

The people of Ethiopia are an extraordinary and remarkable people. Other than the Creator, who can truly know and assess our people in their entirety? Through this year’s election, Ethiopians have once again shown the world that they are a people with a rich culture, deep patriotism, and the ability to safeguard the common good.

On this historic day:

* Citizens who were not intimidated by the cold and darkness of the night,
* Who were not deterred by the midday sun or sudden rain,
* Whom weddings, funerals, childbirth, and other social obligations did not prevent from participating,
* Who were not wearied by long lines,
* Whose physical disabilities did not stop them from casting their vote,
* Those whose illness and old age did not prevent from witnessing the hope of their country,
* Who were not exhausted by carrying their infant children; the future inheritors of the nation,
* And above all, whom the shouting and threats of enemies could not intimidate or stop;

The perseverance you demonstrated amid many challenges and hardships, against all odds, was a contribution made for democracy and for the very survival of the nation. For this, you deserve heartfelt gratitude.

It is a privilege to serve such a people. Therefore, may those who have been elected honor the trust placed in them and serve this people, with integrity and sincerity! A people who have paid a great price for the democratic system. May you be worthy of that responsibility.

በድጋሚ የተሰጠ መግለጫ

የኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ምርጫ ቦርድ ዛሬ ሰኞ ግንቦት 24 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም. ከማለዳ 12:00 ሰዓት ጀምሮ እስከ ምሽት 12:00 ሰዓት የ7ኛውን ጠቅላላ ምርጫ ድምፅ የማስፈጸም ሂደት ላይ እንደነበር ይታወቃል። ቦርዱ በሥምሪት ላይ ያለው የክትትል ቡድኑ ያቀረበለትን ሪፖርት ተመልክቶ የሚከተለውን ወሥኗል።

በኢትዮጵያ የምርጫ፣ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች ምዝገባና የምርጫ ሥነ-ምግባር ዐዋጅ 1162/2011 አንቀጽ 49(4) መሠረት ቦርዱ የምርጫው ነፃና ፍትሐዊነት ይበልጥ ያሰፍናል ብሎ ካመነ የድምፅ መስጫ ሰዓቱን ሊያራዝም እንደሚችል በግልጽ ይደነግጋል። በመሆኑም የድምፅ መስጫ ሂደት ባልተጠናቀቀባቸው የምርጫ ጣቢያዎች ላይ ድምፅ የመስጠት ሂደቱ እስከ ዕኩለ ለሊት 6:00 ሰዓት ድረስ የተራዘመ መሆኑን ቦርዱ ያሳውቃል።

ማሳሰቢያ: የተመዘገቡ መራጮች መርጠው የተጠናቀቁባቸው ጣቢያዎች ላይ አስፈጻሚዎች የድምፅ ቆጠራ ሂደቱን እንዲያከናውኑ ቦርዱ ያስታውሳል።

የ7ኛው ጠቅላላ ምርጫ ድምጽ አሰጣጥ ሒደት ሰልፍ ይዘው የቆዩ መራጮች እስኪመርጡ ይቀጥላል - ቦርዱ

የድምፅ መስጠት ሒደቱ ከ12 ሰዓት በፊት ሰልፍ ይዘው የቆዩ መራጮች እስኪመርጡ ይቀጥላል አለ የኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ምርጫ ቦርድ፡፡

በዛሬው ዕለት ከጠዋት 12 ሰዓት ጀምሮ እየተካሄደ በሚገኘው 7ኛው ጠቅላላ ምርጫ ሕዝቡ በነቂስ በመውጣት ድምጹን እየሰጠ ይገኛል፡፡

የኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ምርጫ ቦርድ ዛሬ ሰኞ ግንቦት 24 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም ከማለዳ 12 ሰዓት ጀምሮ የ7ኛውን ጠቅላላ ምርጫ ድምፅ የማስፈጸም ሒደት ላይ መሆኑ ይታወቃል።

ቦርዱ ድምፅ የመስጠት ሒደቱ እስከ 12 ሰዓት ሠልፍ ላይ የነበረው ድምፅ ሰጪ ድምፅ ሰጥቶ እስኪጠናቀቅ ድረስ ድምፅ የመስጠት ሒደቱ እንደሚቀጥል አስታውቋል።

ዐዋጅ 1162/2011 አንቀጽ 49 (4) መሠረት ቦርዱ በልዩ ሁኔታ የድምፅ መስጫ ሰዓት ሊያራዝም እንደሚችል ይደነግጋል።

አዲስ አበባ እየመረጠች ነው !

የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ አስተዳደር ኢንቨስትመንት ኮሚሽን ኮሚሽነር ወ/ሮ አይሻ መሃመድ አደን በምርጫ ክልል 16 ቤተመፃህፍት ምርጫ ጣብያ በመገኘት መርጠዋል።

ለፈተናዎች የማትንበረከከው፣ አይበገሬነቷን ያፀናችው ኢትዮጵያ ዛሬም እንደ ትናንቱ ከሩቅም ከቅርብም የተደቀኑባትን ተግዳሮቶች እየተሻገረች ዴሞክራሲያዊ ባህልን መገንባት እንደምትችል በ7ኛው ሀገራዊ ምርጫ ተግባራዊ ምላሽ ሰጥታለች፡፡
