Referring to a study of the World Food Program, women who own their own business reinvest 90% of their income in their families and communities whereas men only reinvest around 30-40% of their income. Supporting women entrepreneurs therefore means to directly contribute to poverty reduction and gender equality within the country.

Our member Mulu first began brewing tej - Ethiopia's favorite tradtional honey wine - in 1992. She was taught and inspired by her mother. She only uses the finest local ingredients: organic honey, hops, cinnamin, coffee, ginger and other spices.

Last Thursday August 13, 2015, the Official Opening Ceremony of the Annual Art Exhibition of Graduates 2015 of Alle School of Fine Arts and Design (College of Performing and Visual Arts ) took place in the Academy Gallery of Addis Ababa. The ceremony’s highlight was a charming showing new collections of Ethiopian Women Exporters’ Association Members in a special corporation with 2015 students and graduates.
The exhibition can be viewed until October 16, 2015.
