Food and blanket packages, prepared to meet the basic needs of the disaster victims, were delivered to those in need in the villages of Mazo Doysa and Wosemo, near the town of Laka.

As part of our fight against the smuggling of cultural artifacts, we have successfully completed another significant repatriation.
At a ceremony held at the Ankara Republic Museum, with the participation of our Deputy Minister, Mr. Gökgan Yazgı,
a handwritten manuscript of Ethiopian origin, with a wooden cover and leather pages, written in the Ge'ez alphabet and Amharic language, was handed over to the Ethiopian Ambassador to Ankara, Mr. Adem Mohamed Mahmud.
This repatriation, achieved through international cooperation and legal processes, is a concrete demonstration of our commitment to protecting cultural heritage and combating illegal trade in cultural artifacts.

In an iftar program organized for orphan and disadvantaged groups, with the participation of TİKA Vice President Dr. Yahya COŞKUN, 1000 people were hosted at the table.

In a food aid program organized for Internally Displaced People (IDP) with the participation of TİKA Vice President Dr. Yahya COŞKUN, 500 food packages were delivered to those in need.

In the most difficult times, we once again deeply experienced on 6 February 2023 that both pain and hope are shared.
With the disaster of the century, not only our cities but also our hearts were shaken. The prayers rising from our heartfelt bonds, reaching far beyond our physical borders, and the solidarity shown demonstrated how we stood by one another.
We pray for Allah’s mercy upon all the citizens who lost their lives and feel the pain of those left behind in our hearts.

As TİKA, through the projects we implemented in , we contributed to the preservation of the social and cultural fabric of Nejashi village, considered one of the oldest Muslim settlements in .
Within this scope, the physical infrastructure of the Nejashi Tomb and Mosque Complex, one of TİKA's most prestigious projects in the field of cultural heritage, was strengthened with square landscaping and road works.
