There is an Ebola disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) with some cases reported in Uganda.

Be cautious if you’re travelling in the region. The Bundibugyo strain of Ebola has no approved vaccines or specific antiviral treatments.

Some countries have increased health screening for travellers and have closed borders. Stay up to date via official sources and check the travel advice for each country.
