REWA RUGBY WELCOMES MS DEEPIKA CHAND

The Rewa Rugby Union (RRU) welcomes Ms Deepika Chand into the RRU Family.

At the meeting of the RRU Games Committee on Tuesday this week, the Committee elected Ms Chand as Treasurer of the Union's Games Committee.

Ms Chand is a Teacher by profession and teaches at the Nausori Primary School. She is an official of the Valiant Saints Rugby Club which will field both men's and women's teams in Rewa's domestic competition this season.

With the advent of women's rugby competition within Rewa's domestic season, the election of women as officials of our union, is timely and appropriate.

Ms Chand's appointment will be for the 2022 season. We wish her the very best on this appointment
