Ratu Sukuna Day is a time for all Fijians to honour the life, leadership, and legacy of Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna, a visionary statesman whose dedication, wisdom, and service helped shape the foundation of modern Fiji.

As we commemorate his contributions to our nation, we reflect on the values of leadership, unity, respect, and national pride that continue to inspire generations today. This public holiday reminds us of the importance of preserving our heritage while working together towards a stronger and more united Fiji.

In observance of this important national holiday, all Post Fiji branches will be closed on Friday, 29th May 2026.

Post Fiji is proud to announce the winners of the 2026 National Letter Writing Competition!

This year, students from across Fiji shared heartfelt and inspiring letters on the theme:
“Why human connection matters in a digital world.”

The creativity, emotion, and powerful storytelling displayed by all participants made this year’s competition truly memorable — and selecting the winners was no easy task. Entries were carefully reviewed by a judging panel which included lecturers from Fiji National University (FNU), whose expertise and support helped ensure a fair and thorough evaluation process.
