Domoika Hike, Waterfall & Rock Climbing Adventures is a humble yet thriving business model that is centered towards the economic advancement of the Vanua through communally owned businesses.

Had the pleasure to meet and hear from Ms. Matelita Katamotu accompanied by her proud father on plans in place to further develop their business.

One of our key focusses as a Coalition Government is the provision of support towards community based/resource owners’ businesses to ensure equal profits, business development and one that will benefit the Vanua today and their future.

‘SODELPA Ready to Campaign’

The Social Democratic Liberal Party says it is delighted that the date for the General Election has been announced.

SODELPA Leader Viliame Gavoka (Bill Gavoka) says he felt elated after he was advised this morning that the election will be held on December 14th.

“I was in church, after church I was told that the Honorable Prime Minister has made that announcement and I just said Praise the Lord. I was so elated because it has been a long wait.”

Gavoka adds that the party is pleased and will be conducting its campaign for the next six weeks.

Happy Diwali 🪔

MESSAGE ON THE OCCASION OF DIWALI 2022

It is that special time of the year, we come together as fellow citizens to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights marked by followers of the Hindu, Sikh and Jain faiths.

Diwali symbolizes victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

SODELPA believes that recent lockdowns due to the pandemic was a period of darkness for our country and people. However, it was through the resilience and solidarity of the people of Fiji, we were able to collectively dispel the darkness, enabling our economy to steadily return to normalcy, our people reporting to work, opening of our borders and the ability to now get together as families.

The celebration of Diwali will be marked by some 315,000 Indo-Fijians around the country, whose forefathers have lived and toiled these lands for many decades.

As we celebrate Diwali, we also emphasize the need to protect and honour the fundamental rights of individuals in exercising their rights and freedom of worship.

Over the years, the Indo-Fijian community has made enormous contribution to the growth and development of our beloved nation. Their commitment and service to society, people to people and Fiji in general is always an inspiration to us all.

On behalf of our SODELPA family, we wish all Fijians celebrating this significant occasion a blessed, safe and cheerful Diwali.

ENDS

Bill Gavoka
Party Leader.

📢📢📢

In the coming months, Fiji is going to head to the polls, providing an opportunity to you fellow citizens, as registered voters, to elect a government that will lead us in the next four years.

We have a government that fails to respect and uphold the key principles of democratic governance – a government of the People, for the People and by the People. Laws that have been in existence for years are being amended overnight from clause to clause without the views and opinions of the People.

Must we continue with this?

Fiji needs civilian leadership to navigate us out of our current predicament.
