The Multinational Observer Group (MOG) has been invited to observe the 2022 Fijian General Election.

Observers were present to witness the allocation of seats and the return of the writ this afternoon.

MOG members present at key areas The members of the Multi-National Observer Group will be present at hundreds of polling stations around the country to observe Fijians who will cast their vote.

The MOG has 39 teams of observers spread across the breadth of Fiji today, observing polling day.

We also have a Suva-Nausori contingent who will be observing polling in the area (including overseas voters) as well as counting and tallying at the NCC and NRC from this evening.

The Co-Chairs from Australia, India and Indonesia witnessed the first voters cast their ballots at Suva Grammar School at 7.30am.

Over 90 MOG observers have deployed across the country in preparation for Election Day tomorrow.

Observers will visit hundreds of polling stations, and will also observe the counting and tallying of ballots at the National Count Centre and the National Results Centre.
