The Young Alliance Movement shares our Party Leader’s sentiment on the Supreme Court’s advisory opinion, as we welcome this historic judgment.

Last week, in living up to the mantra of , the Young Alliance Executive Vice President Elijah Vosarogo joined the Secretariat Team headed by The People's Alliance General Secretary in making submissions, upon an invitation, to the Higher Education Commission Fiji.

This weekend, Executives of the Young Alliance Central Branch managed to attend a Capacity Building seminar, prior to their initial meeting.

When the baton is passed to an amazing team, with a clear objective on , the only lyrics that follow are, “send me on my way.”

Yesterday, the Central Division Young Alliance conducted its meeting and election at The People's Alliance Head Office.

This was followed by a talanoa session with our Deputy Party Leader and Chief Guest Hon. Manoa Kamikamica.

We are united in congratulating all new executives and wishing them great success in their leadership endeavours.

This morning, Hon. Vatimi Rayalu brought and facilitated his youths from Raiwai and Raiwaqa with an early breakfast ahead of the Central Division Young Alliance meeting.

Today, Party Leader and Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka acknowledged the contribution of a few Young Alliance members who were helping clean the Head Office while on their Semester 1 break.

In , the Leader stated, “It is about time. We need to enhance the engagement of our young members like this to carry the party forward.”

“In combating misinformation and disinformation, every voice must be welcomed, no matter how vulnerable.

Yet, one must understand that the end goal of Freedom of Expression and Speech is to be considered and heard. If respect is needed to attain this, then simply be respectful.”

Members of the Movement joined other youth participants in attending the Digital and Media Literacy Training, facilitated by IFES.

Our Projects also aim to ensure a safe online presence, guaranteeing factual communication and combating disinformation and hate speech.

Soon after the clean-up, our members sat down for a talanoa session. The discussion addressed ways on the need to regroup and start filling our coffers.

Projects for are underway for the Movement and surely nothing will ever stop us.
