This is where we make people reflect.
When people talk about moving to France, they often focus on practical things:
- housing
- healthcare
- taxes
- visas
- cost of living
And those things matter.
But after reading the comments on my recent posts, I realized something:
Not everyone is looking for the same life.
Some people dream about early retirement.
Some want more time with family.
Some want walkable cities.
Some want community.
Some want sunshine.
Some simply want a new adventure.
The "best" place depends on what matters most to you.
So I'm curious:
If you could move to France tomorrow...
What would be your biggest reason?

What people forget when comparing the cost of living in France 🇫🇷
People often compare:
• rent
• groceries
• healthcare
• taxes
• salaries
And those things absolutely matter.
But after spending time in France, I've realized that some of the things people value most don't show up on a spreadsheet.
The village fête where everyone gathers.
The Saturday market that becomes part of your routine.
The café terrace where nobody seems to be rushing.
The public parks are full of life.
The local festivals.
The sense of community.
The slower rhythm.
Two people can spend the same amount of money each month and have completely different experiences of daily life.
Sometimes the biggest difference isn't what you spend. It’s how you live. What is something you value that doesn't show up in a cost-of-living comparison?
👇 I'd love to hear your answer.
