🌍 Қазақстан Дүниежүзілік жануарлар денсаулығы ұйымынан (WOAH) вакцинация жүргізілетін аусылдан таза аймақ мәртебесін алған Орталық және Шығыс Азиядағы жалғыз ел атанды.
Тиісті шешім 2026 ж. 22 мамырда Парижде өткен WOAH ұйымының 93-ші Бас сессиясында қабылданды. Жаңа мәртебе Қазақстанның ветеринариялық қауіпсіздік деңгейін растап, ауыл шаруашылығы өнімдерінің экспорттық әлеуетін нығайтады.

🌍 Kazakhstan has become the only country in Central and Eastern Asia recognized by the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) as a foot-and-mouth disease-free zone with vaccination.
The decision was adopted on 22 May 2026 during the 93rd WOAH General Session in Paris. The new status strengthens Kazakhstan’s agricultural export potential and confirms the country’s high level of veterinary safety.

🇰🇿🇺🇳 On 22 May 1992, Kazakhstan became a Member State of UNESCO, marking an important step in the country’s integration into the international community.

Over the years, Kazakhstan and UNESCO have developed strong cooperation in education, science, culture, communication, and the preservation of cultural and natural heritage.

Today, Kazakhstan remains committed to the values of dialogue, cultural diversity, and international cooperation promoted by UNESCO.

🌍✨ On 21 May, the world marks the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.

Established by the following ’s Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity, this day highlights the power of intercultural dialogue in promoting peace, mutual understanding, and sustainable development.

Cultural diversity is not only our shared heritage — it is a foundation for a more peaceful and inclusive future.

«Алтын Орда – дала өркениетінің үлгісі: тарих, археология, мәдениет, бірегейлік» атты халықаралық симпозиум аясында Қазақстан Республикасының Сыртқы істер министрі Ермек Көшербаев ЮНЕСКО Дүниежүзілік мұра орталығының директоры Лазар Элундо Ассомомен кездесті. Министр сұхбаттасын ҚР Президенті Қ.Тоқаевтың БҰҰ жүйесі шеңберіндегі көпжақты ынтымақтастықтың қағидаттары мен тәжірибесіне ерекше мән беретіндігі туралы хабардар етті. Осы жүйеде ЮНЕСКО гуманитарлық салалардағы халықаралық ынтымақтастықтың негізгі тетігі ретінде дәстүрлі түрде айрықша орын алады. On the sidelines of the international symposium “The Golden Horde as a Model of Steppe Civilization: History, Archaeology, Culture and Identity”, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev met with Lazare Eloundou Assomo, Director of the World Heritage Centre.
The Minister informed his interlocutor of the great importance attached by the President of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev to the principles and practice of multilateral cooperation within the United Nations system, in which UNESCO has traditionally held a special place as a key instrument of international cooperation in the humanitarian areas.
In his turn, Lazare Eloundou Assomo thanked Kazakhstan for the invitation, noting the high level of organization and substantive quality of the scientific event. According to him, UNESCO highly values its cooperation with Kazakhstan, including in view of its ongoing membership in the World Heritage Committee, and stands ready to continue joint efforts aimed at safeguarding its cultural, natural, documentary and intangible heritage, as well as strengthening the capacities of Kazakh experts

Президент Қасым-Жомарт Тоқаев дала өркениетінің үлгісі ретінде Алтын Орда мұрасына арналған тақырыптық көрмемен танысты. Дәуірдің бай тарихын ашатын археологиялық олжалар, жазбаша дереккөздер мен мәдени жәдігерлер ұсынылды.

70 археологиялық және архитектуралық ескерткіштері бар интерактивті карта ерекше назар аударды, оның 17-сі егжей-тегжейлі сипаттамалармен, аэрофотосуреттермен және 3D визуализациямен толықтырылды.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited a thematic exhibition dedicated to the legacy of the Golden Horde as a model of steppe civilization. The exhibition featured archaeological discoveries, written sources, and cultural artifacts revealing the rich history of the era.

Particular attention was drawn to an interactive map showcasing 70 archaeological and architectural monuments, 17 of which were supplemented with detailed descriptions, aerial photographs, and 3D visualizations.

One of the exhibition’s key exhibits was the handwritten scroll «Khandar Shezhiresi» (“Genealogy of the Khans”), containing information about rulers and historical figures of its time. In April 2025, the manuscript was included in the UNESCO international register "Memory of the World", which became an important recognition of its historical and documentary value at the global level.

19 мамыр күні Астанада «Алтын Орда – дала өркениетінің үлгісі: тарих, археология, мәдениет, бірегейлік» атты халықаралық симпозиум өз жұмысын бастады. Іс-шараға әлемнің 20-дан астам елінен келген ғалымдар мен сарапшылар қатысуда. Олардың қатарында тарихшы-медиевистер, археологтар, шығыстанушылар, түркітанушылар, моңғолтанушылар, нумизматтар, эпиграфика мамандары, саясаттанушылар, мәдениеттанушылар, өнертанушылар, дипломаттар және халықаралық ұйымдардың өкілдері бар.

Симпозиум қонақтарының қатарында ЮНЕСКО-ның Дүниежүзілік мұра орталығының директоры Лазар Элунду Ассомо мен ЮНЕСКО-ның бұрынғы Бас директоры Одрэ Азуле бар.

On May 19, the international symposium “The Golden Horde as a Model of Steppe Civilization: History, Archaeology, Culture, and Identity” officially opened in Astana. The event has brought together participants from more than 20 countries around the world, including medieval historians, archaeologists, Orientalists, Turkologists, Mongolists, numismatists, epigraphists, political scientists, cultural scholars, art historians, diplomats, and representatives of international organizations.

Among the distinguished guests of the symposium are UNESCO World Heritage Centre Director Lazare Eloundou Assomo and former UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay.

As President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted: “Kazakhstan highly values its partnership with UNESCO in preserving and promoting both tangible and intangible cultural heritage.”

The symposium was organized with the aim of strengthening ties with the international academic community for the systematic and comprehensive study of the Golden Horde. The fact that the event is being held under the auspices of UNESCO highlights the global significance.
