အဆိုပါ မျက်နှာစုံညီအစည်းအဝေးတွင် အလုပ်အမှုဆောင်အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများနှင့် အလုပ်အမှုဆောင်အဖွဲ့ဝင် မဟုတ်သည့် အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများမှ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များက မိန့်ခွန်းများပြောကြားခဲ့ကြပြီး မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ ပါရီမြို့မှ သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/သံအမတ်ကြီးမှ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကိုယ်စားပြု ပါဝင်ဆွေးနွေးပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။

သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/သံအမတ်ကြီးမှ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသည် ၁၉၄၉ ခုနှစ်မှစ၍ ယူနက်စကိုအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံအဖြစ် ပါဝင်ခဲ့ပြီး ပညာရေး၊ သိပ္ပံ၊ ယဉ်ကျေးမှု၊ သတင်းအချက်အလက်နှင့် နည်းပညာကဏ္ဍများမှတစ်ဆင့် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေး ဖော်ဆောင်ရေးဟူသော ယူနက်စကို၏ ရည်မှန်းချက်ကို အကောင်အထည်ဖော်ရာတွင် နိုင်ငံ တကာ ဘက်စုံပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုအပေါ် ဆက်လက်ကတိကဝတ်ပြုပါကြောင်း၊ ယူနက်စကို၏ လုပ်ငန်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ ပိုမိုထိရောက်စေရေးနှင့် အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများ၏ လိုအပ်ချက်များကို ပိုမိုထိရောက်စွာ တုံ့ပြန် ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ရေး ရည်ရွယ်သည့် UNESCO80 လမ်းပြမြေပုံ အကောင်အထည်ဖော်မှုကို ထောက်ခံပါကြောင်း၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ လူဦးရေလေးပုံတစ်ပုံကျော်မှာ လူငယ်များဖြစ်သည့်အတွက် နိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရ အနေဖြင့် လူငယ်များ၏ စွမ်းဆောင်ရည်နှင့် ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုများမြှင့်တင်ရေးကို အထူးသဖြင့် ပညာရေးကဏ္ဍ တွင် အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကျောင်းပညာရေးနှင့် လေ့ကျင့်သင်ကြားရေး အခွင့်အလမ်းများ တိုးချဲ့ပေးခြင်းဖြင့် ဖော်ဆောင်ပေးလျက်ရှိပါကြောင်း၊ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုကဏ္ဍတွင်လည်း အစိုးရမှ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ပေါကြွယ်ဝသော ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်များ ထိန်းသိမ်းစောင့်ရှောက်ရေးကို တက်ကြွစွာ ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိပါကြောင်း၊ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုနှင့် အမွေအနှစ်များ ထိန်းသိမ်းစောင့်ရှောက်ရေးအပြင် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအချင်းချင်း အပြန်အလှန် နားလည်မှုမြှင့်တင်ရေးသည် လူမှုရေးဆိုင်ရာပေါင်းစည်းရေးနှင့် ရေရှည်တည်တံ့သော ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေး ယဉ်ကျေးမှု တည်ဆောက်ရေးတို့တွင် အရေးပါသော အခန်းကဏ္ဍမှပါဝင်သည်ကို ယုံကြည်ပါကြောင်းဖြင့် ဆွေးနွေးပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။

Myanmar Delegation led by Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador of Myanmar Embassy in Paris attends Plenary Meeting of the 225th Session of the Executive Board of UNESCO

The Myanmar Delegation led by U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador of Myanmar Embassy in Paris attended the Plenary Meeting of the 225th Session of the Executive Board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which was held at the UNESCO Headquarters, Paris from 8 to 9 October 2026.

During the Plenary Meeting, representatives of Member States serving on the Executive Board, as well as Member States not serving on the Board, delivered their respective statements. U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador also delivered a statement at the Plenary Meeting of the Executive Board.

In his statement, the Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador reaffirmed Myanmar’s continued commitment to international multilateral cooperation and to UNESCO’s mission of building peace through education, science, culture, communication and information as a member state since 1949. He also stated support for the implementation of UNESCO 80 Roadmap, which aims to make the Organization more effective, inclusive and responsive to the needs of Member States. He further highlighted that, with youth comprising over a quarter of Myanmar’s population, the Government is prioritizing skill development by establishing vocational high schools and expanding training opportunities. In addition, he reaffirmed Myanmar’s commitment to safeguarding its rich cultural heritage, emphasizing the vital role of culture, heritage, and intercultural dialogue in strengthening social cohesion and fostering a sustainable culture of peace.

On the afternoon of 9 October 2026, the Director-General of UNESCO responded to statements by high-level Member State representatives, concluding the plenary meeting.

Myanmar Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador Participates in Special Event with Pope Leo XIV and UNESCO Member States
Paris, 25 September 2026
During the visit of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV to the Headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as part of his official visit to France, a Special Event with UNESCO Member States was held at UNESCO Headquarters on 25 September 2026. H.E. U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Paris, participated in the event together with Permanent Delegates/Ambassadors accredited to UNESCO and diplomats, representatives of international organizations, academic communities and civil society organizations.
In his address at the Special Event, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV emphasized that education, science, culture, communication and information are powerful foundations for protecting and promoting human dignity and peace. He underscored the importance of ensuring that the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other technologies is guided by responsibility and used for the benefit of humanity, without undermining human autonomy, dignity and rights. He also highlighted the vital role of education in fostering young people's capacity for critical thinking, appreciation of truth, and respect and understanding of diversity. Furthermore, he stressed that peace cannot be built through treaties alone, but requires the building of trust and a culture of peace among peoples through education, culture, dialogue, mutual understanding and respect. Following the event, His Holiness toured UNESCO Headquarters, where Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Director-General of UNESCO, presented him with a commemorative book containing messages of peace from UNESCO Member States as a special gift.
In the commemorative book, the Embassy of Myanmar contributed a message of peace on behalf of Myanmar, emphasizing that valuing diversity through mutual understanding and respect is essential for peace and peaceful coexistence. The message highlighted that education, culture, communication and information serve as bridges that foster understanding, trust and cooperation among peoples and nations, while the participation of young people is essential to nurturing a sustainable Culture of Peace. It further underscored that differences can best be addressed through dialogue, mutual respect and constructive cooperation, which are fundamental to building peace. The message concluded with the aspiration that peace be a journey that we walk together, a responsibility that we share together, and a lasting legacy that we hand down to future generations.

Myanmar Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador Leads ASEAN Committee Meeting in Paris and Handover Ceremony of the Rotating Chairmanship of ACP
(17-9-2026, Paris)
The ASEAN Committee in Paris (ACP) Meeting and the Handover Ceremony of the Rotating Chairmanship were held at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at the Myanmar Ambassador’s Residence on 17 September 2026, under the chairmanship of H.E. U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of the Embassy of Myanmar and Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Paris. The meeting was attended by Ambassadors, Chargés d’Affaires, and officers from the ASEAN Embassies based in Paris.
At the meeting, the ASEAN Ambassadors approved the minutes of the ASEAN Committee meeting held in April 2026 and exchanged views on the activities and future plans of the ASEAN Committee, matters related to the Philippines assuming the ASEAN Chairmanship in 2026, and developments in their respective countries. The Chargé d'Affaires/Ambassador of Myanmar briefed on the political and economic developments in Myanmar.
Then, the Chargé d'Affaires/Ambassador of Myanmar expressed his appreciation for the support and cooperation extended by ASEAN Embassies, which contributed to the successful discharge of Myanmar’s responsibilities as Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Paris, and handed over the rotating chairmanship of the ACP to the Ambassador of the Philippines.
Following the meeting, the Myanmar Embassy hosted a lunch serving Myanmar cuisine to the attending ASEAN Ambassadors and representatives.

သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/သံအမတ်ကြီး အား ပွဲစီစဉ်ကျင်းပသည့် Messe Frankfurt France S.A.S. ၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌနှင့် CEO ဖြစ်သူ Mr. Frederic Bougeard က တွေ့ဆုံနှုတ်ဆက်ခဲ့ပြီး အထည်အလိပ် နှင့် ဖက်ရှင်ကဏ္ဍတွင် စီးပွားရေးအခွင့်အလမ်းများ မြှင့်တင်ပေးနိုင်ရေးအတွက် အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ် ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် ပြပွဲညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးဖြစ်သူ Mr. Nicolas Gouguenheim က ပြပွဲအတွင်း လိုက်လံရှင်းလင်း ပြသခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါပြပွဲတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအထည်ချုပ်လုပ်ငန်းရှင်များအသင်း (Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association-MGMA) ဗဟိုအလုပ်အမှုဆောင်နှင့် Newest Garment Manufacturing Co.,Ltd မန်နေဂျင်းဒါရိုက်တာ ဦးကျင်ထွန်း ဦးဆောင်ကာ ရွှေစကားကုမ္ပဏီ လီမိတက် (Shwe Sakar Co.,Ltd)၊ လက်ဝါးကုမ္ပဏီလီမိတက် (Lat War Co.,Ltd)၊ ဘိလိပ်ပြန် ချည်ထည်တိုက်နှင့် မနုဿ(Manussa) ဖက်ရှင်တို့မှ ပါဝင်ပြသခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီးသည် မြန်မာလုပ်ငန်းရှင်များအား တွေ့ဆုံနှုတ်ဆက်ကာ ခင်းကျင်းပြသထားသည့် မြန်မာ့အဝတ်အထည်များနှင့် ဖက်ရှင်ထုတ်ကုန်များအား ကြည့်ရှုအားပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris ပြပွဲသည် ကမ္ဘာတစ်ဝန်းရှိ အဝတ်အထည်နှင့် ဖက်ရှင် ထုတ်ကုန် ဝယ်ယူသူများနှင့် ထုတ်လုပ်သူများကို တစ်နေရာတည်းတွင် စုံလင်စွာ တွေ့ဆုံဝယ်ယူနိုင် ရန် ချိတ်ဆက်ပေးသည့် နိုင်ငံတကာပြပွဲတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပြီး တစ်နှစ်လျင် (၂)ကြိမ် ကျင်းပလေ့ရှိပါသည်။ အထူးသဖြင့် ဥရောပမှ အဝတ်အထည်နှင့် ဖက်ရှင်လုပ်ငန်းများနှင့် အာရှမှ အဝတ်အထည် ထုတ်လုပ် သူများ၊ အထည်အလိပ်လုပ်ငန်းများအကြား တွေ့ဆုံဈေးကွက်ရှာဖွေပေးခြင်းလည်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ယခုနှစ်ကျင်းပသည့် Weaving the Future တွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအပါအဝင် နိုင်ငံပေါင်း ၃၅ နိုင်ငံမှ လုပ်ငန်းရှင်ပေါင်း ၁၃၀၀ ခန့် ပါဝင်ပြသခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Myanmar Chargé d'Affaires / Ambassador Visits "Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris" Exhibition to Encourage Participating Myanmar Businesses (Paris, 2 September 2026)
The international textile, garment and fashion exhibition “Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris – Weaving the Future”, organized by Messe Frankfurt France S.A.S., was held at the Paris Le Bourget Exhibition Centre in Paris, France, from 31 August to 2 September 2026. U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of the Embassy of Myanmar in Paris, visited the exhibition and observed the displays of textile, garment and fashion products presented by participating companies from various countries.
During the visit, the Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of Myanmar was received by Mr. Frédéric Bougeard, President and CEO of Messe Frankfurt France S.A.S. and they exchanged views on the exhibition and business opportunities in the textile and fashion sector. Subsequently, Mr. Nicolas Gouguenheim, Exhibition Director, accompanied the Ambassador and Embassy officials on a tour of the exhibition.
Myanmar was represented at the exhibition by a group of entrepreneurs led by U Kyin Tun, a member of the Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) and Managing Director of Newest Garment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., together with Shwe Sakar Co., Ltd., Lat War Co., Ltd., and Bhi Lat Pyan Cotton House, and Manussa Fashion. The Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador met with the participating Myanmar business representatives and expressed his support for their participation in the exhibition.
Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris, which held twice a year, is an international exhibition that brings buyers and manufacturers of garments and fashion products from around the world, and providing a platform for them to meet, and explore a wide range of products in one place. In particular, it provides an important opportunity to connect European garment and fashion businesses with garment manufacturers and textile companies from Asia, facilitating business contacts and market opportunities. This year’s “Weaving the Future” edition features approximately 1,300 exhibitors from 35 countries including Myanmar.

The PUBG Mobile tournament, a featured event of the Esports World Cup 2026, is currently being held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France, from 6 to 16 August 2026. On this occasion, U Kyaw Nyun Oo, the Chargé d’Affaires/ Ambassador of the Myanmar Embassy in Paris, met the President and Vice President of the Myanmar Esports Federation, alongside the members of the Yangon Galacticos (YG) Esports team, who are representing Myanmar as the reigning 2025 PUBG Mobile World Champions and then hosted a dinner at his residence on 12 August 2026.
The Embassy is proud to welcome and meet with Myanmar's talented youth from the Yangon Galacticos (YG) team here in Paris. Competing on such a prestigious global stage not only elevates Myanmar’s national image internationally but also showcases the country’s rising potential and the bright future of its youth on the grandest global platforms.
