ပါရီမြို့ရှိ စင်ကာပူသံအမတ်ကြီး H.E. Mr. Umej Bhatia ဦးဆောင်၍ အာဆီယံ သံအမတ်ကြီးများနှင့် ပါရီမြို့အခြေစိုက် အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ စွမ်းအင်အေဂျင်စီ (International Energy Agency - IEA) မှ အမှုဆောင်ဒါရိုက်တာ Dr. Fatih Birol တို့အကြား ဒေသတွင်းစွမ်းအင်အကျပ်အတည်းနှင့် စွမ်းအင်လုံခြုံရေးဆိုင်ရာ အလုပ် သဘော နေ့လယ်စာစားပွဲကို ၂၀-၅-၂၀၂၆ ရက်တွင် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ရာ မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ ပါရီမြို့မှ သံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးကျော်ညွန့်ဦးသည် အာဆီယံသံရုံးများမှ သံအမတ်ကြီးများနှင့်အတူ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ အလုပ်သဘော နေ့လယ်စာ စားပွဲတွင် ကမ္ဘာလုံးဆိုင်ရာနှင့် ဒေသတွင်းစွမ်းအင်ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုများ၊ လက်ရှိစွမ်းအင်အကျပ်အတည်းနှင့် အရှေ့တောင်အာရှဒေသအပေါ် သက်ရောက်မှုများ၊ IEA ၏ အရှေ့တောင်အာရှဒေသတွင်း ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မှု ပိုမိုတိုးမြှင့်ဆောင်ရွက်ရေးနှင့် ပါရီမြို့ရှိ အာဆီယံသံရုံးများနှင့် IEA တို့အကြား စွမ်းအင်ကိစ္စရပ်များတွင် ပိုမိုနီးကပ်စွာ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ရေးတို့အတွက် အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
IEA သည် ၁၉၇၄ ခုနှစ်တွင် စတင်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပြီး ပါရီမြို့တွင် ရုံးစိုက်၍ စွမ်းအင်လုံခြုံရေး၊ သန့်ရှင်းသော စွမ်းအင်အဖြစ်ပြောင်းလဲရေးနှင့် ရေရှည်တည်တံ့သော စွမ်းအင်စနစ်ဖြစ်ရေးတို့အတွက် အစိုးရများကို ပံ့ပိုးပေးနေသည့် စွမ်းအင်ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မှုဆိုင်ရာ နိုင်ငံတကာအဖွဲ့အစည်း တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဒေသတွင်းပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုတိုးမြှင့်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်တွင် ပါရီမြို့ပြင်ပ၌ ၎င်း၏ပထမဆုံး ဒေသဆိုင်ရာပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုစင်တာကို စင်ကာပူမြို့တွင် တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပါသည်။

Charge’ d’Affaires/ Ambassador of Myanmar in Paris attends the Working Luncheon between ASEAN Ambassadors and Executive Director of the IEA (21 May 2026, Paris)
A working luncheon on Energy Security in Southeast Asia was held on 20 May 2026 between ASEAN Ambassadors and Dr. Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA). The event was hosted by H.E. Mr. Umej Bhatia, Ambassador of Singapore to France. The luncheon was attended by U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d’Affaires/ Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Paris, alongside Ambassadors from other ASEAN Embassies and senior officials from the IEA.
During the luncheon, participants exchanged views on global and regional energy developments, the ongoing energy crisis and its implications for Southeast Asia, ways to further strengthen IEA’s regional cooperation with Southeast Asia, and opportunities to enhance engagement between ASEAN Embassies in Paris and the IEA on energy-related issues.
Established in 1974 and headquartered in Paris, the IEA is a leading international organization dedicated to promoting energy security, the clean energy transition, and sustainable energy systems. To further strengthen its engagement in the region, the IEA recently established its first-ever regional cooperation centre in Singapore in 2025, marking its first official office outside of Paris.

ထို့အပြင် မြန်မာသံရုံး၊ ပါရီမြို့အနေဖြင့် ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်အတွက် ယူနက်စကို ဒြပ်မဲ့ယဉ်ကျေးမှု အမွေအနှစ်စာရင်းသို့ အမည်စာရင်းတင်သွင်းထားသည့် မြန်မာ့သနပ်ခါးယဉ်ကျေးမှုဓလေ့နှင့် ၂၀၂၇ ခုနှစ်အတွက် ယူနက်စကို ဒြပ်မဲ့ယဉ်ကျေးမှုအမွေအနှစ်စာရင်းသို့ အဆိုပြုတင်ပြထားသည့် မြန်မာ့ လက်ဖက်ယဉ်ကျေးမှုဓလေ့တို့ကို သိရှိစေရန် အလေးထားပြသခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါအခမ်းအနားသို့ ယူနက်စကိုမှ တာဝန်ရှိသူများ၊ ယူနက်စကိုဆိုင်ရာ အမြဲတမ်း ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များ၊ သံတမန်များနှင့် အခြားဖိတ်ကြားထားသည့် ဧည့်သည်များ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ ကြကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Myanmar Embassy in Paris participates Cultural Evening Commemorating the International Day of Vesak at UNESCO

The Vesak Day celebration organized by the Permanent Delegation of Sri Lanka to UNESCO was held at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris in the evening of 4 May 2026, under the theme “Let Us Make Haste to Stand Together for the Common Good” and was attended by U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of the Myanmar Embassy/ Myanmar Permanent Delegation to UNESCO in Paris. On the celebration, Ven. Parawahera Chandrarathana Thero, Chief Incumbent of the International Buddhist Centre, and Mr. Lazare Eloundou Assomo, Assistant Director-General for Culture a.i. of UNESCO addressed about the Vesak Day, and then followed by a cultural show and a culinary reception. Myanmar Embassy in Paris served the guests with Myanmar Cuisine – Mo Hin Ga (Myanmar Rice Noodle Fish Soup) and Sa-nwin Ma-Kin (Myanmar Semolina Cake). Fifteen countries took part in the Vesak Day celebration by presenting cultural performances and offering traditional foods to guests.
In addition, the Myanmar Embassy showcased “Practice of Thanakha Culture in Myanmar”, which has been nominated for inscription on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity for 2026, as well as “Myanmar Laphet (Fermented Tea Leaves) Culture”, submitted for the 2027 cycle, in order to understand Myanmar’s rich culture.
The event was attended by UNESCO officials, Permanent Delegates to UNESCO, diplomats and invited guests.

Chargé d'Affaires/Ambassador of Myanmar assumes Chairmanship of ASEAN Committee in Paris (ACP)

The ASEAN Committee in Paris (ACP) Meeting chaired by the Ambassador of Malaysia was held at 1000 hrs (local time) on 28 April 2026, and attended by Mr. Kyaw Nyun Oo, Chargé d´Affaires/ Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, together with the Heads of Mission of the ASEAN Member States in Paris. During the meeting, the Heads of Missions of the ASEAN Member States exchanged views on the ACP’s activities over the past months and the upcoming program as well as the updates of ASEAN’s activities in 2026 under the Chairmanship of the Philippines.
Following the discussions, the Ambassador of Malaysia handed over the ACP Chairmanship to the incoming Chair, the Ambassador of Myanmar. After assuming the ACP Chairmanship, Myanmar’s Chargé d’Affaires/ Ambassador emphasized that, during its tenure, Myanmar aims to further promote the cultures and traditions of ASEAN, and to continue strengthening friendship and unity among ASEAN countries in Paris through close collaboration with all Member States.

The farewell luncheon for departing Ambassadors of Brunei,Ms. Datin Paduka Rakiah Abdul Lamit, was hosted byAmbassador of Malaysia, Mr. Datuk Eldeen Husaini MohdHashim, Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Paris, on 4 February 2026. It was attended by U Kyaw Nyun Oo, Charge’ d’Affaires / Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, together with the Ambassadors andCharge’ d’Affaires a.i. of the Missions of ASEAN countries.During the luncheon, the Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Paris, Ambassador of Malaysia, expressed appreciation for the close cooperation and valuable contributions extended by Ambassador of Brunei throughout her tenure in Paris, and commended her active leadership and consistent engagement in ASEAN-related activities, noting that her efforts would be long remembered. Commemorative gift was also presented to Ambassador of Brunei in recognition of her service.
