The first official French television broadcast was aired thanks to the Eiffel Tower’s newly installed emitter.

A little-known chapter in the Tower’s history, at the heart of the technological innovations of its time.

Le 26 avril 1935, la tour Eiffel entrait dans l’histoire de la télévision 📺
Une première émission officielle de télévision française fut diffusée, avec la chaîne “Radio Vision PTT” grâce au tout nouvel émetteur installé sur la Tour.

Un chapitre méconnu de l’histoire du monument, au cœur des innovations technologiques de son époque.

🇫🇷 Ce dimanche 12/04 a lieu le Marathon de Paris ! 🏃‍♂️
Même si la course ne passe pas aux pieds de la tour Eiffel, nous conseillons à nos visiteurs d'éviter de passer par le Trocadéro pour venir visiter le monument.
