Novruz was celebrated at UNESCO headquarters, alongside Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, India, Mongolia, and Pakistan—honoring shared traditions, a spirit of unity, and a rich cultural heritage. 🌿

Jointly inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Novruz embodies a symbol of peace and solidarity, connecting generations and regions through a shared celebration of renewal.

n the framework of the celebrations of International Mother Language Day at UNESCO HQ, The Permanent Delegation of Azerbaijan contributed to the cultural programme with performances by Sona Iskandarli, who performed the songs “Ölkəm” and “Hamıdan gözəl mənəm”. A national dance was also presented. 🇦🇿🎶
