Khyber Pakhtunkhwa launched a five-year Rs 1.39 Billion programme, Sehat Sahulat, providing coverage of upto Rs 25000. The premium for this insurance program will be paid by GoKP. This social health protection scheme is to supplement the cost of medicines has been initiated for the extremely poor residing in 4 hard area districts of KP. This program will slowly be expanded to cover whole of KP and will operate on a large scale.
