Today, the Spanish contingent of Eurocorps commemorated Spanish National Day with a military ceremony at the Lizé barracks in Strasbourg, presided over by Lieutenant General Aroldo Lázaro, Commander of Eurocorps.

It was a day to pay tribute to Spain, highlight the commitment to service of its Armed Forces, and reaffirm our values ​​of unity, loyalty, and camaraderie beyond our borders.

As a framework nation of Eurocorps, Spain demonstrates its firm commitment to multinational cooperation and to the security and defense of Europe.

Yesterday, October 8, the Commander of Eurocorps, General Aroldo Lázaro, met with the Mayor of Strasbourg, Catherine Trautmann, to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthen the bonds of fellowship between the two institutions. This meeting reaffirms our commitment to Strasbourg and its residents—a community of which all Eurocorps members feel a part.

In his remarks to the attendees, the general—the senior officer of the German contingent—noted that Eurocorps is a prime example of cooperation for the European Union and NATO, an initiative to which Germany is deeply committed. Afterward, together with international guests and their families, they celebrated the traditional German Oktoberfest.

Today, the French contingent of Eurocorps gathered at Lizé Barracks for a ceremony honouring personnel for their outstanding performance and commitment within the multinational HQ.

In his “ordre du jour”, General LION, 🇫🇷 Senior Representative and Deputy Chief of Staff Operations (DCOS OPS) of Eurocorps, highlighted that we have now entered a demanding phase of operational preparation for . He also reminded personnel of the value of serving in a multinational environment

After two weeks of intense operational activity, Exercise Common Harmony has concluded with the satisfaction of having met the primary objective: improving the procedures for setting up and relocating the command post, thereby ensuring command and control for Eurocorps. The Multinational Command Support Brigade (MNCS BDE) leadership commends the efforts of all its soldiers, which were key to enhancing the unit's efficiency and operational readiness.

From 21 to 25 September, Major Joaquin Pelegrín 🇪🇸 participated as a lecturer in the SFA-Operators Course at the Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence (SFA COE) in Cesano di Roma 🇮🇹.

Throughout the course, participants strengthened their knowledge through practical examples, scenario-based training and hands-on exercises.

For Eurocorps, active cooperation with the SFA COE is a valuable opportunity to foster doctrinal convergence, exchange expertise and share operational experience in a strategic area of growing importance to global security.
