Night shift at Bristol Airport cleaning and surveying new drainage runs for a valued client of ours.

Massive shout out to Mike @ Valley’s Performance for sorting my DPF out on Thursday and enabling this shift to go ahead after it was planned in for over 2 months with permits at risk of running out. Mike came to the rescue and saved the day for us. Thank you Mike.

Repair complete where a footing completely collapsed a storm water drain stopping any flows.

We had to dig either side of the footing and core through to repipe the drainage system allowing flows to continue from upstream.

New toilet drop installed for a local bus company with 9m of connecting pipework to existing Cess pit.

Well we got there in the end.

Just after Christmas we had a phone call from a lovely gentleman to say he had been passed on our number on a clean water main supply issue into his property that was holding up the sale of his property.

In all honesty clean water mains aren’t our area of expertise but this customer had tried everything to get this issue resolved and wasn’t getting anywhere. The buyer of the property then put a two week time frame on the customer to get it fixed before pulling out of the sale.

After working closely with the customer and trying to get it resolved with Welsh Water as we were fully booked for the month we wasn’t getting anywhere fast. The water main was roughly 40m long along very tight pathways and part of it was under an extension, we coudnt pin point where it was leaking nor did we have a definitive line and point of entry.

Working late afternoons/nights and trying to fit it in in between other jobs and the horrendous weather we dug 3 x trial holes to find the pipe and capped the line off to test it wasn’t leaking anywhere else and so that we could utilise a such of the existing pipe work to keep the costs down.

Today, the 14th day of the two week timescale the customer was given by the buyer we completed the job with a new 25mm main supply into the property.
