Many of us across Rosemount are experiencing low water pressure. Please see the below for an update on the situation. Scottish Water have located an issue on the 1.2km stretch of trunk main between Slopefield Service Reservoir and the junction of Great Western Road and Duthie Terrace. Hopefully, this issue will be fixed very soon. In the meantime, please know that Scottish Water are distributing bottled water to those who are most vulnerable. If you, or someone you know, is in need of this please do not hesitate to use the contact information below.

Dear Stakeholder,
We are contacting you with an update on the interruption to normal water supply that customers in parts of Aberdeen have been experiencing since around midday on Friday the 24th February.
Following extensive investigations, through the night, our engineers have isolated part of the public water network and made alterations which have restored supplies to most areas that have been without water. However, some customers are still experiencing no water or poor pressure in the following postcode areas: AB12, AB16, AB21, AB24 and AB25.
Our field teams are continuing investigations and systematically testing different areas of the network to locate the source of the problem. We have narrowed the problem to a 1.2km stretch of trunk main between Slopefield Service Reservoir and the junction of Great Western Road and Duthie Terrace.
To provide further resilience, we have been tankering water into the network supplying the Kincorth area of Aberdeen as a temporary solution for customers. We are planning to set up a customer bottled water station in Kincorth by midday today (Sat 25th), with the location to be confirmed via our website and social media.
We have been contacting customers on our Priority Services Register to offer bottled water, which we have been delivering to properties. Bottled water is also being distributed to those most in need, upon request.
We apologise to all customers affected by this interruption to their service. If anyone in your community is looking for updates they can find the latest information via our social media channels or any of the methods found on our contact us page: https://www.scottishwater.co.uk/Help-and-Resources/Contact-Us/Contacting-Us.

𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓: Changes to your parking permits.
Yesterday, the SNP-Lib Dem administration voted to increase the cost of parking permits in our area.
Currently, residential parking permits cost £60 for the first one and £140 for the second one.
From the 1st of April:
It will cost £200 for the first one and there will be no option for a second one in zones A, B, C, D, E, F and G.
It will cost £150 for the first one and £200 for the second one in zones H, J, K, L, M, N, P, T, V, W and X.
If you are a household in the Midstocket/Rosemount area with two cars you will have to pay £350 a year for the pleasure of parking your car on the street beside your home.
I strongly believe that this is the wrong decision to make. What you pay for your permit should reflect the administrative costs of the scheme but it should not be a stealth tax. During this time, when other costs are rising, this is the last thing households in our area need.
I appreciate that the SNP-Lib Dem administration will be looking to raise extra funds but I believe the most immediate action we should take is to address the unfair funding settlement Aberdeen gets compared to the central belt.
Whilst Glasgow City Council gets £1591 per person from the Scottish Government in General Revenue Funding,
Aberdeen City Council gets just £407 per person. Despite Aberdeen being a huge contributor of tax receipts, we get an appalling deal where our city is essentially used mercilessly as a cash cow.
