On the 25th of June, George Street and Harbour residents have a real chance of electing not just the first Green Aberdeen City councillor but the first openly transgender councillor, who will push to create a kinder, fairer Aberdeen.

1,242 votes were between Cara McKee Scottish Greens getting the last seat and Reform in West Scotland - well done everyone, every vote counted and it wouldn't have been possible without everyone's hard work 👏👏👏

It seems like the argument could be made that the amount of campaigning we did in Ayrshire made the difference between Reform having enough seats to be the official opposition and not quite managing it... 👀
