We hope to bring the baths back as a community-led resource for future generations of Aberdonians.

We’re saddened to announce that tomorrow’s public access to the sound installation Single Drop (as part of Soundfest 2026) will no longer go ahead due to the inclement weather forecast. 💦☔️🌪️

Bon Accord Heritage is delighted to have been successful in securing a £50,000 award from the Scottish Government's Just Transition Fund. This award will allow us to take a hugely significant step forward in our plans for the restoration of Bon Accord Baths by developing an energy strategy to make the reopened facility much more energy efficient, thus substantially reducing future running costs. Local companies and specialists in their field will complete the work by next spring. Alongside that work, part of the award will be used to develop a fundraising strategy to identify key funders for the development and delivery phases.

Thanks to everyone who supports the project and encourages us to keep doing what we're doing. 2026 has been an amazing year so far and 2027 is shaping up rather nicely too.

We had such an incredible performance in the baths yesterday by the brilliant Brodie McCash - Percussionist/ Composer

His talented performance with the marimba reverberated around the baths wonderfully - we’d like to thank him as well as all of the lovely audience members who came along 🏊🫧✨
