We were pleased to welcome Grampian Hospitals Art Trust for Waymakers: Poetry Inspired by the GHAT Collection this morning.

In the afternoon, we were delighted to host Professor Bruce Peter who gave an excellent talk and book signing for two of his most recent books: Art Deco Scotland: Design and Architecture in the Jazz Age and Modernist Scotland: 150 Postwar Buildings and Places.

An incredible evening hosting the launch of Nuart Aberdeen for 2026!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out last night to see this stunning installation. A special thanks to our wonderful performers of the evening; Con Anima, Harbour Voices, Aberdeen African Choir, Coda Pendency, and Emily Henderson accompanied by Leonardo Mackenzie for providing the perfect sounds for the evening.

Thank you to the wonderful NuArt team for their incredible work and organisation and to their delivery partners Aberdeen Inspired and Aberdeen City Council, we hope the rest of the festival is a huge success!

Finally, thank you to Robert Montgomery for allowing us to display your work and bring light back into the dark evenings at Bon Accord Baths!

Ever wanted to see the Baths after dark? This Wednesday, 22nd April, is your chance!

We are delighted to be hosting the opening night for Nuart Aberdeen from 8pm-10pm! A major new Robert Montgomery installation is being displayed, setting the tone for a festival shaped by poetry, politics and public space.

Admission is free to all and we anticipate that this will be popular so you may be asked to wait to enter, please dress for the weather!

Not able to come along on Wednesday? The installation is then open daily from Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 April, 12:00 to 18:00.

We're looking for more volunteers!

If you've been looking for a chance to be involved with the Baths (in any capacity!) now's your chance! We're holding another induction for volunteers in the next few weeks and it's a great chance to socialise, our current members are a lovely group, as well as help the project.

Whether you want to contribute at monthly cleaning days, help us out at our incredibly busy events, or just see what fits your schedule, fill out the form linked below and we'll invite you to the induction!

There are so many ways to volunteer and it's flexible around what time you're able to commit, we just ask that you are enthusiastic and show up when you say you will ready for whatever the activity is.
