This site is for everyone to share their wildlife sightings and photos from the newly restored East Tullos Burn in Torry, Aberdeen.

It is not to be used for campaigning purposes. The East Tullos Burn was restored to a more natural course in 2014 to improve its physical, chemical and biodiversity make up. Before this it was in a constrained heavily modified channel that would flood regularly. The floods would block paths making access difficult. Now the new meandering design of the burn allows flood water to be held in managed

It's been a while since we have been able to get out on the ground with the Covid-19 restrictions but it was good to get down to the East Tullos Burn at the end of last week. Looking good and great to see so many people out for a walk but remember to maintain social distancing!
