Congratulations to Cllr on his election as Mayor of Prestatyn and Meliden, a well-deserved honour for someone who has given so much to his community and to Clwyd East.

Anton put it well himself: "We punch above our weight locally", and with him in the chair, that's only going to continue.

A great appointment. Looking forward to seeing what the year brings.

Proud to congratulate Damon Richards-Gwilliam on being elected Town Mayor of Llangollen, making history as the youngest councillor ever to hold the office.

Damon is an exceptional example of young people stepping up in public life, and his election is a real testament to his commitment to the community he serves.

As Deputy Chair Political of Clwyd East Conservative Association, it's fantastic to see members like Damon taking on leadership roles at a local level. This is exactly the kind of grassroots engagement that matters.

Reinforcing the town’s established Dementia Friendly status, the council also marked Dementia Action Week with an informative presentation by Dementia Aware Denbighshire, after which members became Dementia Friends.

Congratulations also to the new Deputy Mayor, Cllr Charlie Jones, and to outgoing Mayor Cllr Aled Morris for two years of dedicated service.

The sands of time are already ticking on Plaid's 100-day plan.

Welsh Conservatives will work constructively with the new government where it benefits the people of Wales, but we'll hold them to account every step of the way.

Darren Millar has pressed the First Minister on his 100-day plan, pointing out that with recess falling in mid-August, time is already running out to deliver. With just 90-odd days left on the clock, the pressure is on.

Darren called on the FM to declare a health emergency, a step Welsh Conservatives have long championed to drive urgent improvements in our NHS, end two-year waits, and tackle the crisis in our emergency departments.

Our manifesto made clear what Wales needs. We'll push for it, whoever is in government.

Plaid Cymru must take responsibility for Wales' struggling economy. After years of keeping Labour in power, they don't get to walk away from the consequences.

The number of payroll employees in Wales is falling faster than anywhere else in Britain, while economic inactivity continues to rise. This is the record they propped up.

First call. First priority. More powers for Plaid Cymru.

Not the NHS.
Not schools.
Not the economy.

Just more devolution, one step at a time, toward pulling Wales out of the United Kingdom. Welsh Conservatives are clear: enough. Deliver for Wales, don't dismantle it."

A big win for drivers across Clwyd East. Conservatives pressure works, Rachel Reeves has been forced to U-turn once more and scrap her planned fuel duty rise, saving money at the pump for families and businesses.

This is what a strong opposition looks like, with Kemi Badenoch holding this failing Labour Government to account.

Our Magnificent 7!
Experienced, dedicated, and not going anywhere. Ready to hold this Plaid Cymru Government to account and push them to deliver a better NHS, schools and economy, as promised in our Welsh Conservatives Manifesto.

Throughout the Senedd election, we warned voters clearly: a vote for Plaid Cymru was a vote for more Welsh Labour. And here we are.

Darren Millar put it perfectly in the Senedd chamber.

The honeymoon period will be short. Because waiting for this new administration is an NHS that isn't working, an economy that isn't growing, and an education system that isn't serving our young people.

The people of Wales didn't vote for a change of personnel. They voted for a change of outcomes.

Whether they'll get that from a Labour-Plaid partnership is another question entirely.

From these benches, the Welsh Conservatives aren't going anywhere. We returned a magnificent seven members to the Senedd, defying every pundit and every pollster who wrote us off.

We are here. We are fighting. And we will champion what Welsh Conservatives have always stood for:

A more prosperous Wales
Lower taxes
An end to government waste
Public services that actually work

Wales deserves better than another term of managed decline dressed up as progress.

24 U-turns. That's the record of this Labour Government in its first parliamentary session alone.

Winter fuel. Family farms. Grooming gangs. Welfare reforms. Social media for under-16s. Day one workers' rights. The list goes on and on.

And at the heart of every single one? The UK Prime Minister's total lack of judgement.

This is a man who, faced with a crisis of vision and electoral collapse, sent for Gordon Brown. A man banned from pubs. Banned from hairdressers. But somehow still in Downing Street.

Kemi Badenoch was clear today: this isn't leadership. This is drift.
If you want businesses to grow, stop crushing them with thousands of pages of employment law.

If you want to fix illegal immigration, you need a plan to leave the ECHR and repeal the Human Rights Act.

If you want to reach net zero without strangling our economy, scrap the legislation that's doing exactly that.

The Labour Party MPs are running around trying to remove a Prime Minister they put in office to implement an agenda they now can't defend. Make it make sense.

The British public deserves better. The Conservatives will do better.
Kemi Badenoch is ready. Are you?

This Wednesday, Keir Starmer will use the King's Speech to set out his legislative agenda, nearly two years into a Labour government that has already raised taxes, talked down Britain and failed to get a grip on the cost of living.

Wednesday's King's Speech is his opportunity to change course. To get serious about reducing the cost of living, properly fund our armed forces and get Britain working. Don't hold your breath.

Only the Conservatives, led by Kemi Badenoch, have a credible alternative, leaving the ECHR to secure our borders, delivering cheaper energy by scrapping green levies, putting 10,000 more police on our streets, increasing defence spending by £50 billion and cutting the tax burden on working people.

Starmer had his chance. Only the Conservatives offer the change Britain actually needs.
