Sunday Radley - 17th September
Tuesday OLA - 19th September

We have just been informed by Kingfisher School that they have an issue with the pool. Unfortunately this means that lessons this afternoon (only) are cancelled.
We apologise for the short notice and look forward to seeing the swimmers next week.

Radley users;
We have been informed of resurfacing works being carried out on Whites Lane, Radley between Wednesday 24th and Friday 26th May.
There will be access to the sports centre via Radley Village.
It is likely that the works will be completed ahead of time if the weather is fine.

Summer Intensives
24th July - 28th July
Intensive swimming courses during the school holidays designed to help children make rapid progress. They are a great way to work on specific areas and even develop new techniques and skills. The small group nature of the courses mean the children learn quickly and they are a great way for them to get active and have fun during the school holidays.
This year’s Summer Intensives will run from Monday 24th July to Friday 28th July at OLA.

● Foundation & Improver classes - Stages 1 to 4
● Stroke Improvement workshops (Stage 5 & above)
● Introduction to Diving (Stage 5 & above)
● 1 to 1 lessons

The Intensives week is always popular so early booking is recommended.
Class sizes are restricted, consequently classes become full fairly quickly.

Interested in diving lessons for your child.
You’ll be glad to know that getting into diving is easy. Children can be introduced to diving at an early age alongside their swimming lessons or, providing they are competent swimmers and deep water confident, they can switch from swimming lessons to diving lessons.
Once children have achieved Stage 5, they are encouraged to try different aquatic disciplines to build on the skills they have acquired.
Our diving lessons work to refine the basic body positions for diving and progress to advanced diving skills, diving from the 1m & 3m platforms working towards Diving Award Stages 8 to 10.

Following experts advice to restrict unnecessary travel Abingdon Dolphins have taken the decision to cancel lessons for Friday 18th February.

We will of course refund any cancelled lessons or if you wish to carry over the credit to the following term.

We have been advised by Our Lady’s that the pool temperature is not warm enough for lessons.

Unfortunately, we will have to cancel lessons for Tuesday 25th January.
