We’re proud to support Earth Trust , who do amazing work managing council-owned sites across the district so that nature can thrive.

Earth Trust are always looking for volunteers to help with crucial conservation work across their sites in the district, including:

Abbey Fishponds (Abingdon) - pictured
Besselsleigh Wood (between Appleton and Besselsleigh)
Tuckmill Meadows (between Shrivenham and Watchfield)
Thrupp Lake (between Abingdon and Radley)

You don’t need any experience to volunteer with Earth Trust – they’ll teach you everything you need to know. Sessions run throughout the week and are very flexible.

The Beacon, Wantage and Cornerstone Arts Centre have joined forces to launch IGNITE, a free development scheme supporting artists across Oxfordshire.

IGNITE offers free rehearsal and development space, opportunities to connect with other creatives, and support to help artists develop and share their work.

Being part of IGNITE means we can help give artists more room to develop their ideas, meet other creatives and feel supported as they take the next step in their work.

Whether you’re making, moving, writing, rehearsing, returning to your practice or starting something completely new, this could be the space to begin.💛
