There will be a reduced service at Abingdon x-ray with the service closing at 6pm today and 4pm tomorrow - Saturday 28th May.

Important Message from Abingdon Hospital -X-ray Department
Please note that on Thursday 17/02/2022 Abingdon X-ray’s service will be limited to extremities i.e. wrists, fingers, ankles, toes etc. (No Knees/Shoulders) between 10:00 to 14:00 with a radiographer on site until 1900.

Due to high patient demand Abingdon Minor Injuries Unit currently has a 4 hour wait. If convenient, we would like to request that patients attend Witney Minor Injuries Unit or Henley Minor Injuries. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
Urgent Request – Crutches Shortage at Minor Injuries Units Oxfordshire
If you no longer require crutches that were provided to you by Minor Injuries/ Urgent Care Units in Oxfordshire, please can you return them at your earliest convenience to your nearest MIU Base.
Minor Injury Units are for injuries sustained in the last 7 days. Please see your own GP if your injury which occurred more than a week ago. Your own GP will arrange an X-ray for you if they feel this is appropriate.

Please arrange your repeat prescriptions for yourself today to help the NHS manage pressures over the festive season. Don’t forget to check on friends, family and neighbours so they have ample supplies too.
Please note that on Friday 05/11/21 Abingdon X-ray’s service will be limited to extremities i.e. fingers, toes etc. (No Knees/Shoulders). If you think you may require full X-ray facilities then please attend Witney MIU.
