We are a Charity founded through personal experience of caring for someone with Dementia and it's many issues. Our Trustees are Dr Catja Schmitgen, Mr. Justin Cotton, Mr Liam Hogan and Mrs Judith Tregartha, we plan to engage other Trustees as we grow. Opportunity for individuals with brain injury experience or complex health needs and their carers who live in Hyndburn to access a new program launching in early spring at Spring Vale Farm in Green Haworth.
This will be a six-week course where you will have access to 3 individual equine-facilitated learning (EFL) sessions and the opportunity to connect with horses. A further 3 sessions will be run as a small group which include art/journal writing sessions combined with further equine-facilitated sessions. There will also be a celebration event at the end of the 6 weeks.
