🌲Village Ranger in Action🌲
The Village Ranger has been busy this week tidying verges and footpaths in Chorley Hall Lane

Our eggciting Easter Egg Hunt around Alderley Edge village centre proved very popular, with lots of enthusiastic hunters out to find the creatively hidden eggs in local shops.

The Parish Council would like to thank everyone who took part in the search, the businesses and the Library who all embraced the idea of this fun way for families to explore the village together over Easter.

The winners in the prize draw were Tom (in the under 8 age group) and Maisie (in the 8-12 age group who also needed to work out the Easter phrase). They were invited along for a special Easter Egg prize at Alderley Edge Library where all completed entries had to be dropped off. There was also a bonus prize of an Easter bunny toy kindly provided by San Carlo for Thomas (in the under 8 age group). The parents of the winners echoed the thoughts of all those taking part, commenting that they really enjoyed doing the Egg Hunt and it was a lovely way to spend time together in the village over the holiday.

Probus call for members!

Alderley Probus is an association of retired and semi-retired PROfessional and BUSiness people and is now a ladies AND gentleman's club.
The club meets regularly at 10am on the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Union Club on Stevens Street. We have a chat, take coffee and hear talks from a variety of speakers. The talks start at 10:30am and last about one hour. Visitors welcome.

An Egg-stra Special Easter Adventure 🐰
The Easter Bunny has been busy in Alderley Edge… and we’ve got something egg-citing for you to get involved in!
From Saturday 28 March to Friday 10 April, children can take part in our Easter Egg Hunt around village businesses — finding hidden egg shapes and collecting letters along the way.
There are 33 eggs to find, and all completed entries will be entered into a prize draw for a special Easter treat.
It’s the perfect way to get out, explore the village, and have a cracking time over the Easter break.

The village ranger has been busy brightening up the goalposts at Beech Road play area, giving them a much-needed refresh.

Annual Parish (Community) Meeting

The Chair of Alderley Edge Parish Council cordially invites all residents, local groups, and organisations to join us for our Annual Parish Meeting.

The meeting will be held on Monday 30th March 2026 at 7.00pm at the Festival Hall, Talbot Road, Alderley Edge.

Following the meeting, we welcome you to join us for tea and coffee, an excellent opportunity for community interaction and to meet with your local councillors.
