Alderney Police are investigating the theft of a jacket from Braye Beach Hotel, Braye Street, Alderney, between 3.00pm and 4.15pm on Tuesday, 12th May 2026.

**Road closures** Good evening, there will be road closures in place on Sunday 17th May 2026 between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on roads leading to the Hammond Memorial. This is to facilitate the annual service that is being held at the site to remember and honour those that died during the occupation. Thank you.

Alderney Police are investigating a non-dwelling Burglary of a Boat which was stored at Fort Gronez just off Route De Crabby, Alderney. This has taken place between Sunday, 3rd May and Tuesday, 12th May 2026. Significant damage has been caused.

On Saturday 9th May 2026 Officers arrested a man in connection with a serious assault that took place outside The Georgian House, Alderney.

A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, remanded, and charged to court today. He was remanded in custody until future court appearances.

Further, a 48-year-old man was arrested today on suspicion of assault. He is currently in police custody.

The victim of the assault is now in hospital in the UK and remains in a serious condition.
