Farnham AS Membership

Despite some rumours apparently circulating about Farnham AS having put in place a membership cap, we can confirm that is not the case.

We can also confirm that despite some peoples misguided previous claims that our membership exceeds 4,500, 5,000 and even 7,000 this season ! 👀 🙄 , our membership remains open and is below 3,500 at present.

Indeed, it will most likely be below 3,700 at the end of the season, which is where it has remained for the last 3-seasons.

Indeed, our membership has only exceeded 4,000 members on 3 occasions, for the 2013/14 season after we had just purchased our Yateley East & South Complexes (which have been invested in heavily over the last 14 years), and in both 2020/21 & 2021/21 due to the pandemic.

If you wish to become a member and enjoy the fishing and facilities we offer our members, which many believe is unbeatable value and which includes some superb and varied fisheries, please just use the link below.

Last season's members who have not yet renewed and intend to do so should act before 1st June 2026 to avoid having to pay the Joining Fee again, as your membership will be deemed to have lapsed as of 31st May 2026.

The Environment Agency have now completed their repairs to the access bridge (the photos is of the old one) and the section is now open again, but only for access and pre-baiting should you so wish, until fishing recommences on 16th June.

The grass will be high, but not too bad with so little rain until this week, but it will be cut within the next 2-3 weeks in good time for the new season of course.

Summer Pit, Dairy Pond, Tree Lake, Pumphouse and Horseshoe Lakes are now open with immediate effect.

They all now have Aerators installed on them and anyone found to be tampering with them, will lose their membership.

Over the next week, they may come on at random times while we are undertaking some final adjustments to the system.
